Our guide, Alfred made this an interesting walk, despite the weather. Off the usual tourist route to see some of the other sites of the city and learn more of the history of York, there is so much to see & hear about. Would recommend this tour and Alfred as a guide.

I really enjoyed this walking tour with Sarah. She was very informative and told us lots of nuggets of information. I really appreciated the nice slow walk as my feet were killing me from all the walking I had done all day! I went away to York on my own and she made me feel totally part of the group. Would highly recommend.

Relaxed and not rushed, and she conveyed the spirit of the people of York to us. Guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Saw buildings and heard stories from the Roman, AngloSaxon, Viking and Georgian eras.
