    Hotel pick-ups commence prior to the tour start time. Please refer to your voucher for your hotel pick-up time or call the operator. You will be collected from the hotel you have selected in the drop down list. If you wish to change your pick-up location, you must call the operator at least 24 hrs prior to travel. If your hotel does not appear on the dropdown list, the operator does not pick-up from your hotel. Please phone the operator to arrange an alternate pick-up time and location.
    Based on the time of the sunrise, your tour begins with pickup from your Ayers Rock hotel in the early morning. From here, you’ll take short drive to Bruce Munro’s Field of Light, an art installation inspired by the artist’s time spent in the Red Desert. 

    Beneath the atmospheric cloak of darkness, stroll through rows containing more than 50,000 spheres of light whose colors transform according to the sky’s ever-changing hues. From the observation deck, watch the sun rise over Ayers Rock (Uluru) and the Fields of Light dim in the natural daytime light.

    Your tour concludes with drop-off at your Ayers Rock (Uluru) hotel.

    • Depart the resort in total darkness for the short drive to Bruce Munro’s renowned Field of Light installation • Take it all in from a private dune-top as your host provides details of the artist and his incredible undertaking • Wander through the paths surrounding the 50,000 hand-crafted frosted glass spheres of light, in colours of ochre, deep violet, blue and gentle white • Why not find a quiet corner, covered under a blanket of stars, to immerse yourself in the silence? • Return to the dune-top, where you'll be served a warming tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Watch as the dawn creeps across the desert plain and lights up Uluru – don’t forget to look out for Kata Tjuta behind you! Return to the resort in time for breakfast, all flight transfers or further activities.

    • Guests that require a wheelchair are welcome on our tours providing they are accompanied by an able-bodied companion and do not require special assistance from the supplier to embark and disembark the vehicle. Wheelchairs will be stored under the vehicle whilst in transit. If travelling with a wheelchair, you must contact the supplier at least 72hrs prior to departure to ensure your wheelchair can be accommodated.
    • Prams and strollers are not permitted at the Field of Light exhibition site.
    • Most travelers can participate
    • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 30 travelers

    The tour is managed perfectly. We went on the sunrise tour and we had plenty of time to explore pre dawn. Watching the sunrise gave us magical pictures of the lights and then watching the sunrise over the rock was a perfect finish. This was a key reason I visited the rock and it did not disappoint.     Phoned to confirm the bookings and the still the pickup was not changed to dessert garden which makes I hard for the pickup coach and time delays the next stop I had to book on line because the person I tried to phone didn’t know the product and couldn’t find what a needed or wanted so booking on line is better I’m in booking this and I’m from perth Maybe get a job when I get back to book things clients need and up sell before loosening the client with little help

    We were unlucky today with the sunrise, which may have added to the experience not living up to its full potential, however overall I feel like the money spent on this tour could have been put towards something more special. Like always, the AAT Kings staff/tour guides were amazing. Great tea/ coffee and chats. with them all. They made this tour. However, we did not find the field of lights as extravagant as they are made to look on the internet. Credit to the artist though for his work.
