If you have booked the Uluru By Segway - SELF DRIVE option you are required to meet us at Kuniya Carpark/Mutitjulu waterhole carpark. It'll take approximately 40 minutes to drive from Voyages Ayers Rock Resort to our site base at Uluru.

    • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers

    • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
    • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

    • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

    Had an absolute ball , this was the best tour! we all had No experience on a Segway before but the boys give u a little training session first. our guide Brendan was awesome he taught us so much we would never had known about Uluṟu , definitely would recommend this experience to anyone has to be the best way to get around the rock and learn the history at the same time having fun .     The Segway was not available due to rain two days previous although the ground wasn’t terribly wet. We did short walks around the base instead but wasn’t offered any discount on the price. The guide , Teagan, was very knowledgeable and friendly.

    Hi Karen, Thanks for your review. I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed that you were unable to Segway at Uluṟu. Unfortunately earlier this week Central Australia received a significant rain event which left the base track of Uluṟu covered with many puddles for several days after the rain. Whilst some areas may appear to be dry, other sections of the track can remain covered with puddles for many days after rain. On occasions like this Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park request we do not ride our Segways as it can damage the base walk track. This week our reservations team reached out and made contact with all guests impacted by this, like yourself. When making contact with guests in these situations our reservations team explain the alternative walking activity we are able to run and offer a full refund to guests should they wish not to go ahead with it. I am sorry we didn’t meet your expectations, however sometimes these things are outside of our control.     My husband and I are in our 60s and 70s so I was a little apprehensive about whether we could handle the 12.5 km Segway around Uluru. We had no problems at all and really enjoyed the whole experience. The instructor/tour guide provided full instructions and made the day very enjoyable. Definitely recommend this experience.

    A Very professional outfit that cared for every persons safety and experience. Natalie our tour guide was very patient and non judgmental every time we “fell”. Ok so we kind of pushed them bad boys to their limits and had a blast. The stories told by Nat really gave Ayers Rock a lot more character and the information about its geological history was balanced. Most importantly though was the time we saved getting to see the rock from all angles with little effort. Definitely a once in a life time must do!!!
