Our tour guide Sharon (seit)was exceptional!, with such knowledge, passion and complete friendly engagement with the group. A smaller group was certainly the best way to go. The sunrise tour was amazing. I would thoroughly recommend this Uluru base walk experience and team. 10/10

Awesome experience shared with my grandson. The colours were amazing and the rock just kept changing as we walked around and the light changed. Loved the stories the history and the native plants. A perfect morning. A one of a kind experience

What can I say, what an amazing experience. Jay was our guide for the day. So knowledgeable. He made sure we got to the perfect spot to watch the sunrise. Breakfast was great. The walk was pleasant and he did not rush us through. We were able to take in the rock in all its glory. Something I will remember always. Would not have been the same if we did not have a guide. Thank you

0/10 0 stars terrible customer Service
    Jolyon_R
    , Jun 2022
Julia was a 0/10 0 stars in terms of customer service skills and was very patronising and rude when I went in to clarify an issue in person at the 'Se It' desk in Town at Yalara. I told Julia I had paid $180 for the tour and was the only one forced to embrassingly get off the bus and pay an extra $38 on top of the tour for the park entry fees at 6:20am in the morning. So l paid $220 in total a real rip-off for what I actually got. When I originally booked the tour it stated clearly that the national park fees where included in the price I triple checked this. I explained this to Julia at the 'Se it' desk in the town centre. She was so patronising and rude didn't want to listen and just fobbed me off. I also explained that the Viator rate states u pay $25 for the adult national park fees. This information had been added after I had booked. This is wrong information. U actually need to pay $38 for park entry fees so it's wrong information. Overall I expected a better response than I got to be honest it was terrible customer service. In terms of the actual Tour I did enjoy the walk although there is also room for much improvement. The breakfast was very sub standard. I actually didn't eat it and ate my own. The breakfast provided was very cheap and nasty. On the tour I was constantly left behind nobody seemed to care at all. I was really racing just to keep up for about 30 mins towards end of the tour. Couldn't even see the group ahead and was walking really fast so hard to enjoy the end of the walk. Throughout the tour I was constantly left behind so missed most of the guided talks. I have done many many Tours around the world and this one was a complete rip off. Highly not recommended. 0/100!!! Do the free guided walks of the rock yourself or walk it yourself for free and take your time without rushing. $220 is way overpriced for what u actually get. 0 stars!

Best way to see the rock. Doing it at sunrise you beat the crowds and the heat. The tour guide was very informative and the breakfast was simply but good. The base walk was 12km but very easy to walk. Walking around the rock you really get to take your the time to enjoy the beauty.

The 12km Uluru base trek with our guide Dan was excellent! It is definitely a long walk and our 8 year old felt it but didn't want to stop because Dan's commentary and Dreamtime stories were so engaging. It's a completely flat track with a nice even walking surface and lots of breaks while Dan explains things. The early part of the walk is the most pleasant, before the sun comes up and before the flies come out. Fly nets are really helpful in keeping them off your face but can get a bit hot. There are beautiful watering holes and caves with cave drawings to stop at. The breakfast is provided in individual packs and includes muesli, milk, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, a muesli bar, a juice box, water and biscuits. Overall a very interesting and enjoyable way to see Uluru.

Wayne (Seit travel)our guide was a gem of a guide with great passion in his work as a guide in explaining the aboriginal lores and historical cultural background surrounding Uluru. He also spent extra time in taking us to many other hidden parts of the Uluru base walk and explained in good detail all aspects of the Uluru mythology pertaining to aboriginal culture and geological aspects of the rock formation. An extremely great down to earth man and great gem of a guy, great intellectual asset in the tour guide community and the companies that he represents and works for.

The walk was easily done, Mick (guide) chatted with everyone and waited till the people at the back caught up before explaining the history behind where we had stopped. It was a memory I will cherish forever.

Amazing experience. We were picked up on time by our guide Sharon could not have asked for a better guide. Her enthusiasm, knowledge and joy made it feel as though we were walking around the rock with a friend not on a tour.
