False Advertising - Horrible Service and very late both to and from the airport

All pictures are of a SUV but they would only provide a van. When I called to complain, the company said that was the intent despite the photos. Also, the van was more than 25 mins late to pick us up at the airport. I had to call the company twice. The van was also 20 mins late to pick us up at the hotel. I would never use this service again. I would recommend USA Transfers as they show up on time and don't lie about their service.

Our transfer from the Cancun airport to our hotel in the hotel zone was good. A little slow in getting started, but overall just fine. Also, it is a little hard finding out when they will pick us up for our transfer back to the airport.

I am completely aware that the vehicle on the page is not a guarantee, however something similar is guaranteed. I was completely disappointed w/ my experience when arriving in Cancun. I specifically booked this ride because of the reviews and because I was expecting something similar to the picture. When we arrived in Cancun at Terminal 4 there is no sign or indication on the confirmation email I printed that states specifically where we should stand. It does give a clear understanding of what to look for on the individual, but even then the notes provided were completely incorrect. We waited 1 hour for our ride. I called the phone on the confirmation email and the male individual was unsympathetic. He said, he had already contacted his colleagues and they were on there way to picking us up. I specifically told him where I was standing and he told me not to move from that location. He would have his colleagues come look for me and he/she would be wearing a specific color shirt. 10 minutes passed by from the time the individual provided that the service would arrive and I called him again, again he was rude and unsympathetic. I told him I had already waited 40 minutes and that I would be contacting the company Viator who I booked this service w/ and even then he did not seem to care. He said it was my right and I could do whatever I wanted. I hung up on him. The colleagues w/ the specific color shirts never arrived. After that we began to walk to the platform of Terminal 4 where many taxi/ride sharing companies stand around and after 50 minutes of waiting a male pulls out a clipboard w/ our last name written on it. We approached him and he approached us asking where we had been waiting? We told him where we were standing and the male on the phone had told us to wait there and not move. The man tells us that is not a waiting area and he should have never told us that, because taxi/ride sharing companies employees are not allowed to walk passed the platform leading into the Terminal and this why no one was ever sent to us. All along one person is giving us certain information and another man is giving us conflicting information. I proceed to look at his shirt color, completely different from what the male had stated on the phone and different from what was on the confirmation email. Then we were told to look for the name of the company on the shirt as well. That was incorrect as well. The man had a different company name on his shirt, however he still worked for the company. After finding the individual who we thought was going to take us to our destination after an hour, he stated we would have to wait another 10-20 minutes because although the ride was ready for us, they were close to cancelling it so they sent it out to take some other passengers to their destination. In other words, it didn't matter that we had ours reserved, they did not want to lose out on money, tips, or whatever and used our reservation to transport someone else. After waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes in the scorching heat and 100 humidity, we still had to walk another 20 minutes to reach a van. We were transported in a white old van, no a/c in the van. The a/c vents inside the van were broken. The seats were uncomfortable. The van looked like I had paid 5.00 for transportation. I booked this service in advance due to the fact we would have the service reserved and would be met like specified and w/ a similar vehicle on the picture to pick us up. I have booked w/ Viator and did not have this experience. DO NOT BOOK this specific service!

Amigo Tours was the company Viator used for this transfers. I originally booked and paid for Shared Airport Transfers, received my vouchers, emailed the company stated on the voucher Amigo Tours to reconfirm my flight arrival and departure flight times. I was then told by Amigo Tours that our drop off and pick up location will be at another hotel about a mile away from our condo. Viator did not have a disclaimer stating drop off and pick up are limited to certain location hotel/condos Per Amigo Tours, If we wanted to be dropped off and picked up at our condo, we would need to buy private airport transfers and referred me back to Viator, since Viator should've known this and advised their customers. We changed to private and paid the difference. BUT SERIOUSLY, who wants/buys airport transfers, just to get dropped off and picked up at a different location, where you need to drag your luggage to your hotel/condo?? Come on Viator, you need to do better!! AMIGO TOURS on arrival and early morning departure pick ups were AMAZING and On Time!! BEWARE....when we exited customs at the airport, DO NOT fall for the first person approaching you, saying they're your Transfer company, they were not!! They will make you believe they are your Transfer company, but will end up trying to sell you a timeshare at the end. IT'S A SCAM! I walked away when realizing it was a scam, at that time another guy told my husband that he was airport security and he needed to talk to him. After my husband approached him, he then said he was the tour company manager and still tried to sell us timeshare. Bunch of Scammers and liars outside of customs. Just walk passed/through them and the desks on the right and out the sliding door, that's where the tour companies with name signs are located.

The transfers were prompt and smooth for the most part. However, the information we received wasn't correct. It said there would be someone wearing a white polo shirt and khaki pants with a sign from BD Travel outside the airport waiting, which wasn't the case. We had to walk all the way to the end of the transportation section to find them and they were not dressed in white polos and Khaki pants. The attire that was given to us were incorrect. They were the very last group in the transportation section...so be sure to keep walking once you exit. After giving them our voucher they were able to help us. We were given instructions on who will be picking us up on our return ride at the time as well. We were told someone with the same name badge name Lorenzo will be picking us up.. make sure that's his name. However, the person who picked us up was named Javier. We were skeptical at first, but trusted our hotel personnel telling us it was the right company. But other than that, the transfers were on time and smooth.

It works the other way, too! This was actually FROM our hotel TO the airport. I was worried, since the title of this Viator service is the opposite direction, but everything went very smoothly.

I arrived in Cancun as a first-time visitor at 4am and had heard about all the timeshare and tour guide operators that would swarm tourists upon exit from the airport. At that time of morning, however, the airport was a ghost town and the lack of hustle and bustle was surprisingly and worrisome, as I thought I might be venturing outside in the wrong direction. The few shuttle drivers that were waiting to receive their customers were very spread out outside the terminal. Many did not have customer names clearly or written large enough on placards or signboards. I knew to look for Amigo Tours but it was difficult to see from that distance. Once I got far outside the terminal, there was a narrow-sized, one-person kiosk with a lot of writing on it and fortunately in the quick glimpse I got, I saw the word Amigo. The agent there had typed, printed, and displayed my full name on a piece of paper so I figured out I was in the right place. It took quite some time to process my reservation although there was no obvious issue or reason for me to be concerned. I think it was just time for him to communicate with the home base and coordinate the arrival of the driver at the airport. It took about 15 minutes, during which MANY other customers arrived behind me also for an Amigo shuttle service. I was the ONLY passenger with her name prominently displayed on the board not sure why that is. The agent did not communicate very much information and simply told the other customers to wait in various locations around the kiosk rather than in a line. Hopefully, he remembered the order in which they arrived. The driver, upon arrival, helped carry my bags to the shuttle. I did not get a black SUV type vehicle which is shown on the reservation/advertisement on viator.com. I received a white 11-person passenger utility type van but it was acceptable for me. The driver was quiet and left me alone during the drive. I reserved a one-way single-person 19 ride and it was perfectly fine, direct, and quick. My only critique would be 1 for the agent to place his kiosk closer to the egress at the airport, 2 place names of ALL incoming passengers who have made reservations on the signboard, 3 communicate just once that everything is going according to plan during the processing of the reservation so that the passenger does not worry there is a problem with the transport 4 change the advertisement on viator.com so that the black chevrolet SUV type vehicle is removed.

Due to flight cancellations only 2 of us could be picked up at the airport at the scheduled time. I tried to make arrangements for the other 4 to be picked up and was told it couldn't be done. Then our return trip from the hotel to the airport was scheduled for 1 p.m. Nobody showed. After waiting 40 minutes, I called Amigo Tours and was on the line FOREVER. They finally came back on the line to tell me someone would be at our hotel in 10 minutes to pick us up. It was actually another 20 minutes. We didn't get picked up until after 2 p.m. Fortunately, we didn't miss our flight.

The worst transfer company in Cancun. I paid for a round trip and was never picked up from my hotel back to the airport. I had to pay an additional 45 dollars to get to the airport. They also show a suburban in the picture I paid more thinking that I will ride in a suburban but was picked up in a van that I could have paid less for transfer in the vans
