Great way to see the chateaux of the Loire Valley - with good food and wine

We truly enjoyed the all-day tour of the chateaux of the Loire Valley - the castles were wonders to behold, our tour guide (Simon) was fun and funny (and knew many English idioms!), and we had a wonderful lunch. Highly recommended!

A Day in the Loire Valley

Full day touring three chateaus of the Loire. Claire was amazing and knew so much about the history of the region and not just what we were visiting. The lunch at the private estate was very memorable but wish some of that time was allocated to our visits of the two main chateaus.

The tour was fantastic. Our guides were great and so kind. Our Special lunch was perfect in a beautiful chateau. At our last stop. They prepared a nice celebration. I’d go again

Just Perfect

From the moment our tour guide Agathe picked us up in Tours until the moment she dropped us back several hours later, everything was just perfect; from the little touches like coffee to start the day, to Agathe's enjoyable imparting on the chateaux visited, and finally wine and chocolate to end the day. To say nothing of the delightful lunch at Chateau de Villesavin, what a special treat indeed. Chateau Chenonceau and Chateau Chambord left us speechless; one for its beauty and the other for its sheer scale of unbelievable architecture. An unforgettable day, thank you to Agathe.

The tour with Agethe was wonderful. She was a great tour guide who showed us around the three castles visited. She was able to answer any question posed. The lunch at the private castle was tasty and the wine very nice to try. I found this your to be very worthwhile despite the long day as we travelled from Paris.

Small-Group Tour to Chambord, Chenonceau and lunch at a private chateau from the town of Tours

Lara did fine job of leading us on this journey into the Loire Valley from Tours. The van was nice and comfy and clean. She knew her away around these locations and I think made the most of the time we had there. I was glad I had read about them in advance though, as she could have shared a bit more information as we were driving there. In addition to being WOWED by the beautiful Chateaus, the lunch provided was very nice and I loved that we ate in the actual chateau. Take the trip!

Everything stellar except the van

Lara was great! She was very knowledgeable. Overall, the company does a good job with extra touches like coffee and breakfast pastry, then a snack at the day’s end. The lunch was at a smaller, private chateau - absolutely delicious. Home cooked with local produce and wine. The main châteaux were very worthwhile, and our tour guide was able to navigate the large crowds easily. About the van… Poor suspension, dirty windows which seems an odd with a tour group, and a lack of a microphone when the company seems to have primarily older clients she was very knowledgeable. Overall, the company does a good job batches of having breakfast pastry today. The lunch I had a private smaller Shanto absolutely delicious. Hand cooked with local produce. About the van: poor suspension, dirty windows which seem at odds with a tour group, and a lack of a microphone when the company seems to have primarily older clients. Made it difficult to hear the narration on the roadways.

We truly enjoyed this tour made especially wonderful by Agathe our guide and driver for the day. Not only do you get to see two amazing chateaus on most tourist’s wish list, but you also get an amazing lunch served at a private Chateau only available to this company’s clients. Agatha picked our small group up in Tours and took us to Chenonceau, followed by Villa Savin (the private one) and then to Chambord. After we finished in Chambord, Agathe took us to a picnic area and brought out wine and chocolate for everyone to enjoy. Agathe is very pleasant, funny and very knowledge and made our day memorable. Highly recommend this tour. Merci!

Our small group tour was absolutely perfect. Daphne was knowledgeable, charming and we learned so much. She was able to shepherd us around the other groups and knew the photo vantage points. This day trip was well planned out and break for lunch was needed after all of the walking! This trip, with this company is worth every penny. An experience we will always remember. Thanks Daphne!

We were very sad to miss such a wonderful experience. I became ill during the night before. We were staying at Le Grand Hotel in Tours close to where we were to meet our guide early the following morning. We were also sad to have to pay for the tour anyway because we had to cancel within a few hours of the departure and the cut off for refunds is 24 hours.
