A perfect snorkeling day in the Caribbean!
, Feb 2020
Small group of 9 persons and a fun trip. Saw lots of fish, coral, sharks, and a couple of large turtles. The crew of 3 was great, very willing to help and with a good sense of humor. Definitely recommend this company for a snorkeling trip!
Great variety of sea creatures
, Feb 2020
We enjoyed seeing manatees, green sea turtles, nurse sharks, spotted eagle rays and many types of fish. We also stopped to feed some tarpon and visited some sea horses. We had a blast with Captain Phillip and his crew. They balanced out the day perfectly, giving us plenty of time in the water to see as much as we could ever want.
Must do snorkelling tour
, Feb 2020
Excellent tour. Everything we were after and more! Saw Manatee’s, turtles, stingrays and sharks. The small group setting is perfect as you get to the different spots faster than the larger sailing boats. Phillip, and his crew Ash and Wilson were very helpful and made sure we were safe and having a good time exploring. They’re also very respectful of the marine life while allowing us to explore their world. 10/10. Great day
Adjective rollercoaster

The usual overused adjectives really does apply here: awesome, amazing, fantastic, etc. The reefs are in good condition, and you'll see many species of fish, even turtles and nurse sharks up close (probably).
Great guides and sights but bad communication

I really enjoyed the tour as such and you get to be in the water a lot during this tour as you go different sites to snorkel around. The guides are fun and like to joke around but they are serious about protecting you and the maritime wild life. The food was good too! The only thing I have to criticise quite a lot is the lack of communication. The mention you can get the ferry tickets through them if you stay outside of Caye Caulker, so I inquired about it and was told it's 15 USD. Fine, so I told them I'd like to have them and how to proceed, where to get them etc. I never got a reply (this was in Dec.) Then the day before I enquired again and haven't received a reply yet again, as I only have a foreign phone the charge it would have been for me to pay a call was too high. So I had to pay double the fare for the ferry in the end as I didn't know if the tickets had been put aside or whatever. Upon arrival I then was told to pay for the tickets, fortunately I didn't have to pay them after I explained that I never heard back but I would have liked to hear that they are sorry for the lack of communication which didn't happen. Then I also found out that we could be dropped at San Pedro, which was nowhere communicated and didn't even seem to be an option. Apparently it is though if you have a min. of 5 people stay there. It would have been great to have this communicated as I wasted money on a) the ferry in general and then b) also on the return, as I obviously bought it as a return trip in order to safe there at least. So make sure to inquire about this beforehand, especially if you are more than 5 people... But that aside it is definitely worth it!

Thanks for your honest review about our guides and their enthusiasm and love for the wild life. We try to keep that same level with all our guides. The ferry tickets are actually just and extra favor we try to help our guests with to try to help them save money as much as possible. Being a operation with a small staff it is actually really difficult for us to do this as the tickets are only valid for a few days, so we need to constantly monitor the requests so we can do them close to the tour date. We do have a lot of other logistics to deal with so sometimes the extra favors get put to one side. Therefore, we mainly offer them to bigger groups that are easier to keep track of. That is probably why your request slipped through the cracks. This in no way means you were any less valuable to us as we try to show ALL our guests the same attention. We do truly offer our sincerest apologies for this and hope you understand our side.

Hol Chan was amazing. Part of the tour was guided and then part you were able to explore the reef solo. Swim with sharks and rays! So much fun! Philip was awesome. They take a go pro and send you pictures and videos at the end of the day.

We do try to show you why to respect the reef and it's life before we let you explore the reef solo. Our guides do try their best to take the best photos possible so you have great memories to show your friends.
Fantastic Experience with Phillip and Ash!
, Sep 2019
You must do this tour! This was our second Hol Chan tour but this was much better due to the smaller group size and more personalized experiences. Phillip and Ash made the day so much fun, providing lunch, beverages, and lots of laughs and fun. A MUST DO!

We have as much fun with our guests, while trying our best to educate them so that you can appreciate why we love what we do sooo much.
Highlight of our trip! Professional, fun, adventurous, relaxing
, Aug 2019
We absolutely LOVED our snorkeling trip with Nauti Times to Hol Chan! We even went for a full day 2 days in a row! The size of the group was perfect, they provided lunch, and they made safety of the participants as well as the marine animals a priority. The guides- Karim, Phillip, and Ash, were welcoming, funny, playful, and extremely knowledgeable. Even though we were gone all day we never got bored and were constantly entertained. If we go back to Caye Caulker this will be #1 on our list. Thanks guys!
Snorkeling was excellent.
, Aug 2019
Had caught the water taxi in Belize City and was expecting a good excursion as I love to snorkel and have snorkeled at a few other places as well. The captain of the boat and first hand knew the best places to snorkel and swimming with the sharks and turtles was a wonderful experience. Seeing the coral reefs and the types of fish swimming around was nice as well. So, if you have never been snorkeling before, go take this excursion as the boat captain and first mate were the best and friendly.
Highly recommend!! 5-stars!

I researched a lot of tour companies to do the Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley and so glad I chose Nauti Tours. Those men - Randy, Ash, Kareem (Karim?) - were super amazing and helpful. I don't swim, much less swim with sharks, but my for my first snorkel Ash held my hand the entire time underwater and we were also attached by rope to make sure I never stray far. They also gave me a life vest. By the time we got to our last snorkel spot (6 snorkeling sites), I was confident and didn't need a life vest but Randy and Ash were always nearby. They looked out for me the entire time. Very responsible and safe tour operators. They will not put you in danger. The tour started on time with the maximum number of people (8). It was about 5 hours total. The lunch was amazing! We had choices of chicken/fish/beef burger (even had lettuce and tomatoes), thigh or chicken breast jerk with rice and beans. We had fresh fruit for dessert later (pineapple, banana, orange, watermelon). They gave us fresh watermelon juice or water. And we had rum punch after it was all over. I highly recommend going with Nauti Tours. Professional, safe, affordable tours. You get your money's worth. We got to swim with turtles, nurse sharks, sting rays, all kinds of fishes (including Nemo), fed tarpons, saw seahorses. All kinds of corals, a barracuda, dolphin. It was an amazing day for snorkeling.
