Ronnie was the best!

Ronnie was such a great tour guide! He was great and made us feel comfortable when a group of older men were staring and taking videos of other girls in our tour and he took us to another spot to make us feel better. He also

Great times.

The water falls were beautiful. The food was amazing, and the Tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that we were expecting a little more out of the animal sanctuary. All in all the experience was very good.

Wonderful tour

Gustavo, our driver and guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and made for an amazing tour! We started with a waterfall swim, just beating the crowds, and then a beautiful hike where Gus pointed out a plethora of flora and fauna. We stopped for a delicious lunch, and then concluded the tour at the sloth sanctuary, where Freddie worked tirelessly to find us red eyed tree frogs, dart frogs, and sloths in the rain. Amazing experience and well organized tour!

Great Tour

The Rio Celeste is breathtakingly beautiful; lunch was great; swimming at the Llanos de Cortez waterfall was lots of fun and refreshing. We saw lots of animals: howler monkeys, white face monkeys, colorful frogs and sloths. Well worth taking this excursion. Our guide, Gustavo, was very nice.

Beautiful and Not Enough Time

Llanos de Cortes Waterfall was just lovely. The water was incredible and filled with fishies. The waterfall was majestic. Only complain is that you only get like 15 minutes to swim and take pictures. Personally, I think this tour would be better if you could spend closer to an hour at this location because it is an incredible spot. Rio Celeste Hike: Oh boy this is beautifully breathtaking. The hike through the rainforest is not that long, but the intensity comes from walking down and up the stairs that take you to the waterfall of Rio Celeste. This part was lovely, however, I wished you were given more time to enjoy the rainforest because it can feel a little rushed. The Sloth Sanctuary: This part was very relaxed and cool because we tried some sugar cane, natural cinnamon bark, and spotted a toxic frog. Our guide was intelligent young man who knew his animals and what he was sharing with the group. Overall, the activities were good, however, you spent less than an hour at each location. Personally, I am not a big fan of such rushed process of sightseeing. If you are looking to truly take in the sights, I would advise doing this on your own. I am giving this tour 3 stars because I wished we had had more time. The sights are worth visiting.

Great and awesome adventure, but not covid safe

This was a great day - and all of our expectations were met and we saw even more than we were expecting. Ronny the guide was fantastic. The lunch and surprise butterfly farm was fantastic. The only thing that I would say as far as constructive is that it was not a COVID safe adventure - we rode in a shuttle with a bunch of other people and the question was asked if everyone felt ok not wearing masks and everyone said yes and I was the only one who wanted to try to stay safe, but the group pressure was really uncomfortable and I felt like I had no choice but to say ok. Now I’m worried and hoping neither of us caught COVID - everyone said they didn’t have it, but no one can really know other than 7 days in the past since the incubation period is so hat long. It will be a horrible experience if either of us gets sick. Other than that I highly recommend this trip.

Great excursion and day

Ronnie & Luis were great! It was pouring out and very windy so we ended up skipping the sloth sanctuary but they both made sure we had a great experience. They were very knowledgeable and pulled the van over every time they saw a cool animal. We saw sloths, toucans, monkeys, and tons of birds. They told us facts about Costa Rica and answered any questions. Rio Celeste was amazing and totally worth the hike. The hike required some physical activity as it is all steps but it was worth it for us! Definitely recommend!
