Private Island Tour

We drove around the large island in a private van with our guide Fabrice. He was born and raised in Tahiti, knew the history and points of interest very well. His English is very good. Please note that this is not an off road trip. We traveled on paved roads that go around the large island of Tahiti and stopped at various points of interest, including the Paul Gauguin gardens, two waterfalls, a grotto , a temple of sacrifice, a blow hole and a black sand beach. The whole trip gave us a good understanding of the lifestyle on the island and its history. Fabrice is very friendly and talkative. I recommend this tour especially for first time visitors to Tahiti.

This is an excellent way to meet Papeete, the guide speaks excellent English and was very knowledgeable. Actual pick up as promised, too, which many tours here lie about!

This tour is a great way to see a lot of cool places on the Island of Tahiti and learn about the history of the island. Fabrice is a very knowledge guide who taught us a lot about the Polynesian culture. Our favorite stop on the tour was definitely the waterfall, which was unlike any other we'd seen before (granted there was a lot of rainfall earlier in the day, so we heard the flow rate was much stronger than average).

Fabrice was a great guide. Excellent English. Great knowledge of history & culture. He went out of his way to ensure we experienced everything we wanted to. We would highly recommend him and this tour.

Fabrice was very kind and a great tour guide with a lot of information about Tahiti. He even helped get our flights changed to Bora Bora and made an extra pit stop on the tour catered to us.

Fabrice was knowledgeable, personable, professional. We really enjoyed learning his story as a Tahitian as well as Island life, history, culture, etc. he graciously accommodated our request to see the James Norman Hall house. We learned a LOT from our time together. The van was clean & comfortable. We highly recommend Fabrice!

This was an excellent tour from beginning to end. The driver/guide was friendly professional and did all he could to make our day special. Think it is his company (if not he did the company proud). There were only the two of us and he did a great job of showing us the main places of interests and shared his extensive knowledge of the big island , both past and present. He even managed to keep the rain away until a half way through the last stop for which he had umbrellas available. We would certainly recommend this trip to anyone - a well spent half-day. 10+ out of 10 for the tour.
