Return Details

Returns to original departure point
Board a minibus for Krka National Park, departing from a central location in Split. The scenic drive takes you to the small town of Skradin, where you embark on a short boat ride down the Krka River.

Arriving at Skradinski buk, you can find the largest travertine cascade system in Europe, with 17 steps up to 1,312 feet (400 meters) wide. You have hours here to explore independently; swim in the crystal-clear waters of the lower lake of the Krka Waterfalls—the only falls in the park where swimming is permitted—or see them from a different vantage point along the wooden walkway. You can follow the footpaths to an old water mill, stone houses, the Ethno Museum, restaurants, and more.

In the afternoon, meet up with your group for the return trip to central Split.

The falls are very small and it’s expensive to enter park in my country all the national parks are free with amazing scenery and things to do which Krka falls park has nothing but expensive shops to buy refreshments

Dear Dick, I am sorry to hear that you didn't like our waterfalls. But I have to say we are more than proud of our natural heritage and proud of the fact that a small country as Croatia has even 8 National parks and they are all extraordinary and amazing. Concerning the charging, this is the way to control the number of visitors in order to preserve and take care of them.

Great value for money. Our guide was really friendly and answered any questions that we had. It was just the right amount of time to spend at each location. I recommend going to the wine garden in the last town we were in.

The trip is not bad, our guide Darko is very active and helpful, he introduced a lot on the way to the national park and gave us lots of tips which are quite useful during the trip.

Way too long

The park is breathtaking. Unfortunately there was way too much free time, and very crowded. It was not possible to swim in the park, it was mentioned that changes like that could happen, but instead they brought us to a beach that wasn’t very nice. At that point we were really tired and would rather go home. Would be better as a half day tour maximum.

Nice day trip

It was a perfect daytrip to the Nationalpark. Everything worked out on time and it was very organized. The tour with the boat and the swimming session on the beach completed this special „sightseeing“ day Our guide Maria took care of us, gave Information to all questions and was very friendly. She even knew our names when we arrived at the meeting point. This was a kind of familiar trip! Thank you :)

Not worth your time, sadly

Having done umpteen tours in the 135 countries I have visited over the years, many via Viator, it pains me to write a negative review but it really is hard to find any redeeming factors in this tour - perhaps the cost and the ok waterfalls but really, I cannot recommend it. It is mass tourism at it's worst (of which I was apart of it). Two big busloads former basis of tour. Very uncomfortable and warm bus ride (an hour so not too bad) back and forth. The waterfalls are not a must in this area - there are several better sights to visit near Spilt. These waterfalls are mildly interesting yet are packed with hoards of guests so it's neither comfortable, fun nor rewarding. And hard to even see and enjoy the small falls with the crowds (again, I am one of these crowds which I get!). The boat ride was pointless. Really uncomfortable seats, everyone crammed in (some refused to go up on deck, rightly, because of the searing heat) and therefore one could hardly see any of the views, which didn't seem too spectacular anyway. It was merely sardine-like transportation to the next spot not a mini boat trip. We were overjoyed to finally get off the boat. The final stop, a small village with a crowded beach, was probably the "highlight" of this poor tour. Some nice cafés and shops - and friendly locals - but not too much to do. These can be found anywhere along the coast. To be fair to the guides themselves, this is not a reflection on them. They were courteous, knowledgeable ,friendly and helpful. But I certainly wouldn't advise this tour overall I am sad to say. Felt like a totally wasted day, alas.

Dear, we are really sorry for your bad experince but unfortunatelly in the high season in the middle of the summer whole country of Croatia is packed. There is nothing any agency can do about it. Also, we can not limit the number of people inside the National Park. Only the Gouvernment can =(

The park itself was amazing. We loved every moment of it. Great Tour guide. Sandra was awesome and definitely made the trip a memorable trip. Getting around on our own was not difficult at all with the information she provided and meeting up back with the group was easy.

Impressive nature and great tour guide

Our tour guide Daniela was so welcoming and it felt like she was a friend of ours during this whole trip. The Krka Waterfalls as well as the boat tour were amazing. The nature around there is impressive. Unfortunately it started to rain later on, but it made this trip even more unforgettable, as it doesn‘t rain often in that area. Espacially the way that Daniela took care of her group and saved us from the rain like a hero. Thanks for everything!
