Your tour begins with an 8am pickup from your central Sorrento hotel. Traveling by private vehicle, set out along the Sorrentine peninsula, looking out across Mt Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. As you cross the peninsula, continue east along the famous Amalfi Coast, a UNESCO-listed stretch of coast, renowned as one of Italy’s most scenic drives.
The first stop of the day is Positano, one of the most picturesque towns along the coast, with its brightly painted houses perched on the edge of the sea cliff. Continue to lively Amalfi, where you’ll have chance to visit the 9th-century cathedral and stroll the sandy beach.
After lunch (own expense), climb to the hilltop village of Ravello, where highlights include the grand Villa Rufolo with its beautiful gardens.
After a full day exploring the Amalfi Coast, return to Sorrento, where your tour ends with drop-off back at your hotel.
