Experience a true tropical paradise on this high-speed catamaran adventure to one of the most secluded and unspoiled spots in the Caribbean. This Culebra tour is the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, good food and drinks and a laid-back afternoon sunbathing and swimming on some of the world’s most pristine beaches.

Start your day trip with optional pickup from select hotels in San Juan, and head for your catamaran cruise leaving from Puerto del Rey ferry terminal in Fajardo. Soak up the sun on the short ride on your speedy vessel, refreshment already in hand, and take in the amazing views of the nearby Cordillera Islands Nature Reserve along the way.

The first stop of the day takes you to the pristine Carlos Rosario or Luis Peña underwater nature reserve, just off the western shore of Culebra, for fantastic snorkeling (bring your own equipment) among the area’s beautiful aquatic environment.

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, enjoy a delicious buffet spread including tropical cocktails, soda, juice, iced tea, fresh fruit, gourmet pasta salad, coleslaw or bean salad, freshly baked bread, sliced meats (turkey, ham, pastrami or salami), seafood or chicken salad, sliced cheese, chips and cookies.

From there, take a short sail to one of Culebra’s unspoiled beaches for an afternoon of sunbathing, swimming and beach combing. Depending on weather conditions, your captain will take you to one of two choices: the stunning Flamenco Beach, situated on Culebra’s main island, or the half-mile long beach at Culebrita, a small islet that offers beautiful views of nearby Saint Thomas.

Finish your day with a return cruise to Fajardo, arriving back at the marina to make your own way home or via optional hotel transport.

Tour guides kind and helpful. We didn’t make it to Culebra, but still fun. Food was good. You don’t need to pack snacks or water.

Pick up was a little late but communication thru text good on ETA. Check in and departure ok, on time ish. Kinda choppy water but ok. Some people got sick but crew handled well. Lunch ok, not great. Chips and fruit available. Drinks plentiful. On the island 10am-1:30pm. Crew very nice. Worth it.

Go to Flamenco Beach with East Island Excursions!

Flamenco Beach on Culebra is gorgeous. Inside boat seats are great for those like me who may struggle with seasickness for the often choppy ride there (though the ride back was easy and smooth). Of the four or five boats out there, the Caribe Spirit was easily the nicest. The crew was fantastic, the food and drinks were solid, and the experience was unforgettable!

Amazing trip

Trip was AMAZING. The ride to the island was quite choppy and I was feeling a bit seasick but the crew was INCREDIBLY attentive and the ride was ABSOLUTELY worth it. The day before our tour, the company contacted me to let me know weather may prevent us from going to Culebra and that we would be informed where we were going the day of. Due to the waves being turbulent at Culebra, we actually were not able to go to Culebra but went to Culebrita instead. It was GOREGOUS. The crew was kind, helpful, and fun. They kept the drinks flowing and kept our bellies full. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested.

The trip was just alright. I wish there had been more music playing when we were docked and that we had stayed the whole time, we got back to the marina 30 mins earlier than scheduled which could have been spent at Culebra. The food was good and the drinks were flowing and well made. All in all it could have been better.

Price should match the limited services for covid

Journey was great. Great boat. Great beach and water but Over priced for the services offered on board. No good food (mini packed lunch) and no options or facilities for non swimmers. On top the snorkeling gears were not provided due to covid excuse but price was the same. Price should match the decreased services. Special THANKS to Matthew who went above and beyond to make our trip awesome. He took us to the beach with floats (boat was anchored 200 feet away from the shore) and he mixes great drinks. 5 stars to Matthew.
