Haight/Ashbury and actually all of it. The guide was excellent. I would highly recommend her. Learning who stayed where in Summee of Love 1967 was very cool as was seeing Robin Williams's home.

Fun and interactive tour. Our tour guide, Judith knew her way around the city and all the full and interesting stories. She had answers to all of our questions and made the tour feel like old friends hanging out. Highly recommended tour of a beautiful city. The bus was fun and surprisingly comfortable LOL and Judith was a pro driver, taking us around the city where a larger bus couldnt fit.

It’s easy to give a 5-star review for a tour that goes off without a hitch, but how is one earned when there are multiple issues? The short answer is it is when an amazing tour guide goes above and beyond to make things right for issues caused beyond her control. When we first met our German guide she was frantically trying to start the beautifully designed VW Microbus that would serve as our transportation through the streets of San Francisco. The key wouldn’t turn, she had been given the wrong key. After 15 minutes of frantic effort - all while adroitly making small talk to keep us entertained - she got the key to turn and we were on our way. Her knowledge of San Francisco and the rock history that sprang forth from the. “Summer of Love” was expansive and her natural charm was well-suited to her profession. All was well until we stopped by the base of the Golden Gate Bridge for a photo op and bathroom break. Once again, the key wouldn’t turn and this time no amount of effort would prove fruitful. After 30 minutes of trying she said that she would have to call an Uber and send us back to our pick-up point. She then said, “What can I do to make this up to you?” We decided that we would spend some time at the pier where we’d started and if they could get the bus going she would come find us and we’d finish the tour. After 90 minutes she called and said that we were back in business. She came back and found us and we proceeded to have the most amazing tour with many extras. I can’t say enough about her grace under pressure. She took what could have been a disastrous day and turned it into a tour that we will remember and treasure. To put it into the vernacular of the Hippy era that we explored she was one groovy chick. If you go to San Francisco take this tour (and don’t forget to wear some flowers in your hair).
