Head to the quaint town of Sausalito for lunch (own expense).

After lunch enjoy a walk through the massive redwood trees in Muir Woods.

Back in the city, board a ferry from Pier 33 for the ride across the bay to Alcatraz Island, home to the former prison of the same name. Enjoy the prison's fascinating audio tour as you explore the cellblock, and then return to Pier 33 on the ferry to end your day tour.

The tour was amazing and the tour guide (Mr Alioto) was so nice and really gave us the history of San Francisco. He was knowledgeable about the entire city. Really enjoyed hearing all the stories. The stories that stuck were Fatty Arbuckle and “Milk”. I am going to watch the movie Milk now. The Muir Woods was amazing. Seeing the painted ladies (full house houses) was great. My son and I really had a great time and the tour guide Mr. Also to was great and personable. He had water and granola bars. He also walked around and offered if anyone wanted pictures taken. I would highly recommend this tour if you have never been to San Francisco. We also enjoyed Alcatraz and Had a great time there. Also we got to see secret service because Nancy Pelosi was in town. We also saw robin williams house. The tour guide Mr. Alioto was awesome

Our guide was able to assess a very difficult situation in a calm & collected manner. He made sure we didn't let the issue ruin the rest of the tour. He was very knowledgeable & wasn't afraid to speak about politics & different social issues some may face in SF. I appreciated the fact that it was also a small group.

We had a wonderful tour of San Francisco, lunch in Sausalito, and finished it off at the Muir Woods. Our tour guide, Pat, was phenomenal. He gave interesting, colorful, and fun insights into the landmarks that we visited. He was good driver, and was eager to share his love of San Francisco. He gave great recommendations for food while in the city and in Sausalito. Highlights of the tour included stops on both sides of the Golden Gate Bridge, a surprise trip through the Marin Headlands, and finally the majestic Muir Woods. We actually booked our own tickets for Alcatraz, so we were refunded the amount for those tickets. There was no trouble at all with this process. Highly recommended.
