Great tour to introduce San Diego

Scooter was a great tour guide. I enjoyed the sites of San Diego. Be prepared to wait longer to get back on the trolly when you get off if it is a weekend day in summer. Bring Umbrella while waiting for trolly so you don’t get a sunburn. Bring water so you don’t dehydrate.

The drivers were great. Informative & funny. We got to a couple of stops the trolley was full & no one was getting off. The driver called dispatch and there was a empty trolley there in 5 minutes. Great service. Highly recommend the Hop On Hop Off.

Very informative. Tour guide knew about things that were not just part of the tour. Great insight to the area. Recommend this as part of your San Diego Journey.
Nice ride

First time visiting San Diego and wanted to make the most of our short time here. This tour will get you to numerous stops in one day. Highly recommend. You can stay on the trolly and not get off - just listen to the guide. I do recommend getting off for the full experience; just catch another - they come along every 30 minutes.

Not very fun

First of all the drivers were very good and the staff as well. Viator does not disclose that you have to get off at Old Town, and wait for a new trolley and driver. We waited 30 minutes. When I complained to the staff, they said if you booked on our website we tell you, Viator does not. Also, we got off and walked around twice, and could not get on the next trolley because it was full. This was not a pleasant experience. We had to be back by 4:30 after starting at 11:30 and barely made it. I would not do this again.

The people were very nice and have a wonderful overview of everything. Only complaint I have is there was nothing that I found that gave you instructions where to catch the trolley. So at the first place you board its very difficult to find where you need to catch the trolley. Took us a bit to get everything figured out and find someone that knew where we needed to go. Otherwise excellent.
Fun time
