Violet has a unique and entertaining storytelling style. The trench coat as a prop was fun. We enjoyed the tour very much :)

Has a great detective leading the way around a few blocks, taking you back in time to an era of gangster and probation

We are from out of town and we were surprised at the amount of homeless people we saw driving into the area and we were uncertain of the area’s safety but the area and the tour itself was safe, well-populated, clean and had a police presence. There were numerous restaurants and bars in the area and an open-air market going on so there was lots to do afterwards

Interesting and fun tour by Detective Drew (Double D). DD was very knowledgeable and entertaining as he painted a picture of the Wild West San Diego in his story telling. Forward him regards from the “IOOF Ladies”.

So fun! Lots of great info! Our guide was very lively and a great story teller! Lots of gory details, definitely not for the weak of heart lol. We went during the day and it was perfect ! Lots of history on the town and the gas lamp district!! Our guide was very knowledgeable and well spoken and it was all around an hour walk around the middle of the gld (: would recommend for those who love true crime and a good story!
