Private Skip the Line Vatican Hidden Gems Tour with Hotel Pick-up and Drop-off

Our party of six enjoyed the private tour of the Vatican very much.  Alessia was an excellent guide:  very professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Since it was New Year's Eve, the tour company arranged to pick us up earlier than originally scheduled so that we would be able to see all of the Vatican before its early closing. Alessia expertly led us through the extremely crowded Vatican, and we did not miss a thing. We would not have been able to navigate the day without her guidance. It was truly a memorable tour that we highly recommend.

Our guide, Louisa arrived right on time, arranged travel to vatican and we slipped right through every entry. She was professional, knowledgeable, and an excellent guide. Great way to see the details of Vatican city.

Karin led us on a very informative, beautiful personal tour. Her pace was just right, moving swiftly when appropriate and pausing for her very well prepared explanations. We were very satisfied by the scope and the depth of our tour. We'll try to get back again.

Our guide, Rosalba, is experienced, prepared, expert, cordial and patient. Plus she was early when picking us up at our hotel. The tour was all that was promised - transport, timing, easy access to the attractions, and no lines (!). There is really no better way to see these attractions, and no better guide than Rosalba.

This was one of the best tours I've ever taken! Our tour guide, Rosie, was incredibly knowledgeable and made every effort to ensure that the tour covered everything we wanted to see within the Vatican. She really personalized it to our interests. That and the fact that we didn't have to wait in any of the numerous lines throughout the Vatican museums made this experience well worth it. The hidden gems part of the tour is really fascinating and lets you go into parts of the museums that are roped off. Its a nice break from the throngs of people at the Vatican. Words cannot do justice to reflect our tour guide, Daniella, she was exceptional. From the beginning to the end she was very informative, caring and adapted the tour to our requirements. We were shown both inside and outside the Vatican and the hidden gems were amazing. Daniella was very articulate in describing the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s of Bascilica. The tour didn’t feel rushed and she expertly navigated us through the crowds so we could see many of the important sculptures up close up. Thank you, Daniella for a wonderful visit to the Vatican.

Our first time in Rome, we decided to treat ourselves to a tour. We were extremely impressed with this one! Katie our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.

While our tour guide was amazing the crowds at the Vatican were overwhelming. We shuffled along the corridors as people pushed and jostled each other to stay with their groups. We literally were should to shoulder for the entire tour. We had a small group of 4 and it was impossible to see things. People were disrespectful and talking when it was inappropriate. The number of people was truly unsafe.

The tour guide met us at the hotel on time and was very informative not only at the Vatican but also while we were traveling by showing other points of interest on the way. On the tour, she didn't rush the tour and allowed us to see some areas, collection of animals and sculptures, which weren't on the general tour. She ensure that we returned to our hotel safely and in a timely manner. Great day!
