This tour was great for a family with young kids. Alessandra was great with the kids. She taught them many interesting things and kept them engaged with fun games. She was also very attentive to when they needed a break. We really enjoyed the tour.

Alex was incredible. We have a one, four, eight, and ten year old. She engaged all if them. They loved it. She read us all so well and knew when we needed to rest or when we needed to move on. She was funny and informative and sweet. She was also incredibly intelligent and well studied, answering our questions with clear expertise. Thank you! We booked our tour at the colosseum the night before which was supposed to be with another family, however they never showed up and we had Maria all to our self. She was amazing from start to finish. Very informative with all the questions all four of us had and most of all patient. She made it very interactive by playing games throughout the tour (with PRIZES!!(souvenirs) for our boys and us as well. I don't think the kids will forget this wonderful experience being able to go back in time and hear the stories about how things were.

We were only two families and coincidentally we both had one boy who were just 1-2 years apart and got along great. Alessandra was able to keep both of their attention for almost 3 hours, amazing! By describing the sites and asking them a lot questions they took it as a game and at every correct answer they would get “points”. Having a very active boy I was afraid he would get bored but he never did! And neither did we!

We did a tour with Marco and he was an absolutely fabulous guide! We had two previous tours during our visit to Rome and he was by far the most informative, gregarious, and fun with the kids. We all walked away from the tour feeling like we had learned so much, made it all feel "real"! He even had us play a 2,000 year old game on the steps of the Roman Forum that we loved. This was so worth the money and if we had more time, I would have booked more tours like this so that my kids would appreciate the ruins of Rome even more.

Our tour Guide - Marco - was fantastic, especially in bringing ancient Rome to life for the children in our Group. We were in a small group of 9, which gave us plenty of opportunity to ask questions and interact with our very knowledgeable guide. He was great at finding out-of-the-way quiet places to talk to us, and gave us plenty of opportunity to take photos and take in the sights at our own pace. Both the Colosseum and Forum were fascinating and enjoyable to see - this tour was a definite highlight of our trip to Rome!

two families joined - 3 teenagers. Not an easy task. As well the parents were all teachers so they were easily engaged and interested. Simona did a masterful job in bringing the two interests together for an entertaining two plus hours. She focused on the kids which is what we the parents wanted. They had a good time.

Marco was a great guide. He had great stories for the kids to keep them interested. We were nervous about booking a semi private tour, but The other family in our group was very similar to us and we got along well. The Colosseum was not as complicated or as crowded as the Vatican, so I think we could have toured it on our own if we wanted to. But obviously having someone like Marco makes it much easier to get around. Overall, we are glad we did it.
