I don't like the fact that they gather everyone together from all over Guanacaste to one central location. This may be great for them, but results in at least 1-2 hours time added to a tour, compared to using smaller vans to go straight to the attraction. Having said that, this Arenal tour was very disappointing due to weather. I know, they don't control that, but maybe they can cancel when it's bad enough. There is a new invention called a telephone where you can call to the area and see what the weather is like and see if it is going to get any better. Terrible weather which made a boat ride on the lake miserable, couldn't see past the base of the volcano, and somehow only had 1 hour left to spend at the best part of the day at the Hot Springs. Totally not worth the time and effort required for this tour. Do the right thing and don't waste people's time and money and cancel the tour instead!
