Good Times above the Sonoran Desert

The pilot and crew delivered a tremendous experience that was thrilling and very enjoyable. Highly recommend this operator to everyone seeking a high flying experience.
Balloon birthday

Pilot and crew were great, knowledgeable and friendly. Ride was enjoyable. We were not in the air for sunrise due to checking wind conditions at several launch points. Safety first but it was disappointing to see other balloons in the air.
Absolutely amazing

The staff was amazing! They were all so accommodating and informative. Our bridal group had such a memorable time and we couldn't be happier!! I highly recommend them to anyone!
Great experience in the biggest air balloon
, Sep 2021
This is the largest air baloon in the western Hemisphere. So there are chances of multiple cancellations. The wind direction has to be perfect for them to take off. It took an hour to find the right place to take off. But over all it was great experience . The breakfast and champagne in the desert was lovely experience & they also gave a certificate .
A Must Do While in Phoenix!
, Sep 2021
I did the excursion alone and had the best time! Everyone on our flight was extremely nice, welcoming and all about having fun. There were other people who also came solo but by the end of the excursion everyone became friends and exchanged numbers. The Crew and Capt. Randy made everyone feel warm and showed us great hospitality. The highlight for me was the Champagne Breakfast filled with laughter and music! Not to mention the surprise the crew has for you at the end of the excursion. This trip is great for solos, couples, bachelorette parties etc. I would definitely book again!
Awesome experience!

It was a wonderful experience that was better than we had thought it was going to be. The entire staff were helpful (group photos), pictures inside the balloon as it was inflating, and setting up breakfast just after the landing. Loved that they repeated all of the guest's names when the certificates were handed out. A very professional company who I have no problem recommending! We had a party of 6 (ages 20-78) and everyone loved the experience.
Amazing staff!

Extremely friendly staff (Earl is hilarious)!! We felt very safe during the trip and had overall a great time. We were going on the sunrise trip, but we didn't make it for the sunrise as we kept driving around to find the right spot for take-off, which was very disappointing. I will still give it 4 stars because of the overall experience.

From the FAQ section of our website: Will I see the sunrise from the balloon flight? No, we launch shortly after the sun has already risen. I heard that we will drive around looking for a launch site. Why don’t you pick one in advance? We are at the mercy of the wind since we have no engine, propeller or steering wheel. Especially in a major metropolitan area like Phoenix, we need to choose a launch site where the winds will lead us to a good and safe landing area with abundant open space. We obtain a weather briefing and check numerous weather sites for the most up-to-date conditions but the fact remains that weather is not an exact science. Mother Nature will do what she wants to do! The winds will typically change as the sun rises and heats the surface of the Earth and may be quite different than what we saw just 15 minutes earlier. We may stop at several places to check the winds to help determine the best launch site for your flight. We have been flying for over 30 years and there is no shortcut to this process. It is all part of the ballooning experience.
Best experience for first time flyers.

The ceremony after the flight was amazing and interesting. The history of it all and partaking in tradition was great!

It was canceled. We didn’t find out until we had already been driven out to the launch site. The drivers were nice but it felt like a waste of our time.

Mother Nature is in charge of everything we do. Many times the weather forecast is favorable but the reality is different. Safety is our number one consideration.
Best Experience

This morning, my wife and I took an incredible journey via a "Hot Air" balloon ride. We had the best time! The staff was not only very knowledgeable, but they made the whole experience even better. We cannot say enough about how much fun it was! Lots of pictures, great weather, excellent champagne breakfast and best of all, the staff! Anyone who is thinking about it, DO IT! You won't regret it for one second!!
