Antelope Canyon is a Must See

Awesome experience and no camera filters are needed to capture the beauty of the rock formations. Our Navajo guide was friendly and helpful and he provided advice on getting the best pictures during our tour. The Upper Antelope Canyon is the ideal choice for its beauty and ease of access compared to the Lower Antelope Canyon.

We toured the Upper Antelope Canyon with Zack, who was an excellent tour guide. He not only gave us information about the canyon but also his tribe and their beliefs. Before we went in, he helped us adjust our settings on samsung phones, iphones and DSLR cameras so that we're able to take good photos. He also played his flute in the end which was a very nice touch.
Checking in: They ask you to check in at least 1.5 hours earlier. Even though our tour was booked through Viator at noon, we made it a point to get there by 10:30 am and had checked in by 10:40. After that, we ate a snack that we had brought along and relaxed a bit. We were asked to report back to the waiting area by 11:45. It's not unreasonable to check in early, as I'm sure they have to organize their tours based on the number of people that have signed up and it must be harder in the peak seasons. There are no shops here to buy food or water. Although, there is a small town nearby where you could grab something to go. There are portable restrooms available at the check-in site.
The ride- We departed for the canyon from the check-in area at noon and it's about a 10 minute ride in a small 12 seater vehicle. The ride can be a little bumpy but it helped that the seats were very thickly cushioned.
Attire- No bags of any kind are allowed. Whatever can go in your pocket is fine. It does get a chilly in the canyon, so bring a light jacket. We went on a day when it was 75 outside but still a little chilly in the canyon. I brought along my phone, DSLR, GoPro and a waterbottle. The walk itself through the canyon is not strenous, it's all flat but you would need water when the weather is warmer.
The entire tour lasted about 1.5 hours and we were so glad we made the 4.5 hour drive from Las Vegas for this.
This company and community is awesome and I'm really glad they're doing so much to protect and preserve this beautiful place!

The canyon is such a beautiful natural sight in the Lake Powell region. Our guide, Cindy, was amazing - she gave us tips for taking the best photos in the canyon and took couple/ group shots for everyone. This tour was a highlight of our trip to Arizona and we highly recommend this company!

The site was incredible the guide great but the Viator part was extremely frustrating. One of our party was very ill and unable to attend but we could not find a way to ask for a refund even tho we tried multiple ways and times. I would not use Viator to book through again because of the terrible customer servicr.

Way too many people in the tour. Hard to move around, hard to get pictures.Over priced, then asked for money at the gate. Required to be there 90 minutes before the tour for no real reason. We checked in then told to come back in an hour and fifteen minutes later. check in took about 2 minutes.

Extremely Lousy Customer Service during Check In

We were a big group that scheduled a tour during winter. Unexpected heavy snowfall and traffic caused us to miss the check in time even if we have a 4 hour window. They sell your seats to walk-ins. It feels like you are in communist China because the helpline and the people checking you in are Chinese who knows zero customer service. They are unhelpful and give you a hard time. No refunds and no manager to talk to. When in fact it is easy to just tell us to walk a few steps to the Indians in the ticketing booth and try to rebook with additional $5 penalty per person. I see a lot who didn't make it to their assigned time too and walked to the window to rebook. I dont recommend Wannar Travel.

Never join the 4:00pm tour, tour agent just wants to make money

The only slots for us to book the tour was at 4:00pm, we were already worried about the early sun set, as it is winter time. So we called Viatour and they mentioned that it will still be a good time to visit and not to worry.
When we arrived the sun was clearly setting and it was absolutely too dark to visit the canyon many of us were using flash lights to come out of the canyon as it was too dark.
Tour guide was great though, he did a fantastic job.
