Upper Antelope Canyon Admission Ticket

Our guide, JR, was amazing. He had so many stories and pictures of different events in the canyon to show us as we passed through. He also showed us how to capture it in photos which was really amazing, because a picture will never do this place justice. We did both upper and lower canyons, and the upper was our favorite. We visited on a 96 degree day and the upper canyon felt air-conditioned when you came inside because of the A-shape. It was so worth it! Our group had 2 adults and 3 kids under 8, and we all had a blast.

The ONLY reason I gave this tour 3 stars is because of the Viator mark up. $75 is an outrageous fee-almost double the cost of the tour itself! Save money and book yourself. I realize they "do the legwork", but all that means is they made a phone call! There are only a few vendors that offer tours, as the canyons are on the Navajo Nation. You can rest assured that they have all been vetted by the Nation. The only difference is how you arrive at the canyon-open back vehicle or plush vans. Now, about the tour...I had to book a later time slot than I wanted (1:20) and I was worried that our photos would not be as amazing as those that I have seen. It might have been better during the early morning hours or late afternoon, but it was still spectacular. I was very pleased with the tour. You can't describe the natural beauty. Our guide was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable and even helped with photography hints. This tour, whether upper or lower canyon, morning or afternoon is a must do when in the area. As a Phoenix resident, I am just sorry it took me so long to get here!

This is the tour you book when the buy-direct reservations are sold out. It's about double the price, but you're paying for the availability and convenience. The canyon is beautiful and something you have to see, but definitely a pretty penny! Our tour guide, Abraham, was AMAZING. So knowledgeable and great at snapping photos for us - he was a total pro! We left with a ton of great pictures taken by him. I think the early check in of +1 hour is a little strange. They are serious about masks - two people in the tour behind us were kicked out as soon as we got to the canyon for dropping masks to take a selfie. They are abundantly clear that masks should be worn the entire time, so be respectful and follow the rules : )

Spectacular wonder if nature in the middle of the Hugh desert. Wear walking shoes and bring your camera.

Tour guide was excellent! It lived up to all of our expectations. However, we discovered that we paid about double what people who booked through other tour companies paid who were on the exact same tour with us. Buyer beware!

JR was fabulous!! The canyon was so beautiful we all enjoyed the tour it was more stunning then we had thought Waiting the hour before in the wind and sand is the only negative we can say

Wonderful tour with an excellent guide. Enjoyed 2 slot canyons with beautiful Navaho sandstone. Remember to take sunscreen, tennis shoes and a hat!

The whole trip was really interesting and spectacular. Although the price is a little high, everyone should visit it once in a lifetime.

Tyrone was a great tour guide and captured some great pictures! The only negative is the arrival time. To arrive an hour early was ridiculous and wasted precious time to include more sightseeing in the area.

I do not like to give bad reviews, but I cannot say enough how horrible our tour was. The only reason I gave two stars is because of the natural beauty of the canyons. Our tour guide that we met to set up the tour itself (Marvin) was nice, but we were only w him for a short amount of time. Abraham was our tour guide for the actual tour and he was absolutely horrible. Within his introduction, he mentioned that tips were appreciated and I should’ve known that the tour was downhill from there. He told us that this was the only job he could get as he was fired from his last job for not complying w mask regulations. He explained that he was related by marriage to the people that owned the land the canyons are on and that is how he got a job as a tour guide. He was rude and condescending throughout the entirety of the tour. He tried to sell us pictures for $20 a piece, claiming that we didn’t come when the lighting was perfect and we needed the picture to show our friends back at home. When we reassured him that we were fine w the pictures we were taking, he then bragged about taking a picture that is supposed to be sold for 30k on the internet… come to find out the picture he claims he took is already a common picture posted on the internet on multiple websites. He didn’t teach us anything about the canyon and that is the whole reason I booked the tour - to learn as I experience the beauty. He rushed us… I actually found myself enjoying the fact that we were so close to the tour group in front of us, just to learn something from the tour guide ahead because our tour guide was useless. At the end, he mumbled under his breath that no one gave him tips while we were still attempting to get off of the truck. He truly set a negative tone overall to the tour. I am still in disbelief over a week later at the lack of respect and professionalism he exemplified.
