It was an awesome experience! Tara was our tour guide and she did a great job. I was amazed when she demonstrated how the canyon started with the elements of wind, sand and water. If only we’re allowed to take a video. Otherwise, it is still a great experience. Not a very crowded tour, everything was organized.

Worthwhile and beautiful

Great rock formations to photograph in small groups of about 15. Wonderful knowledgeable guide. She helped with phone camera settings that enhanced the beautiful lighting effects! Be aware that you are expected to caravan down to the site in your own vehicle. There are irregular wooden steps that lead down to the floor of the canyon with benches to rest at several landings along the way.
Viator never let the tour company know we booked the tour

Due Tunnel fire in Flagstaff we could not travel up to Page since 89 was shut down. We called the tour company and were told Viator never let them know we were booked for the tour. A 2 hour drive would have turned into a 4 hour drive to Page from Flagstaff.
Viator has yet to refund us our money.

Terrible Directions
ROD_R
, Apr 2022
There needs to be a map included with all the other info included with the ticket. Also, the start time is very confusing. You need to show 2 times, arrival (Check in) time, and tour begins time. One cannot decipher when it says departure time, but that’s when checking in happens. We had to wait 1 1/4 hours after checking in. We won’t use Viator again.
