Make your own way to a central meeting point to meet your art historian guide.

Your guide leads you along the Greek streets of Naples and shows you the underground excavations that date to ancient Rome. Continue to Piazza del Gesù, Piazza San Domenico Maggiore, San Gregorio Armeno market, and see typical shops and the Baroque-style Cathedral. Your guide explains the Pagan and Christian influences that remain a characteristic of the present day and can be noted in some of the landmarks you pass.

Experience Neapolitan culture in the narrow streets, and have one hour on your own to browse the shops and purchase a treat for lunch. Feel free to ask your guide for recommendations.

After lunch, view the Theater of San Carlo, a medieval castle that holds one of the world's best neoclassical theaters. Nearby, check out the inside of the Galleria Umberto shopping center, then stroll along the historical Via Toledo and Piazza Plebiscito.

Your tour ends back where it began, at Municipio Square.

Naples in a nut shell
, Mar 2020
Naples is full of history and culture. Our guide Mira helped us understand it within this short amount of time we had. She was extremely knowledgable about various locations in the city and planned a memorable course through the city. We saw Plazzas, palaces, cafes and baroque churches that tell the story of Naples.
Naples and tour guide Mira amazing, made our trip
, Feb 2020
Thank you so much for the amazing tour of Naples on Saturday Mira. We were lucky enough to have the tour guide to ourselves and she took us to so many amazing places. Mira spoke fantastic English and knew so much history of this fantastic city (Including time and cost of all the main attractions). She took us to places we would never have found on our own, up side streets and into churchs (free) adorned with the most gorgeous alfresco paintings floor to ceiling. Whilst walking Mira stopped regularly, allowing us to take photos, ask questions, stop to enjoy local delicacies and tell us about the beautiful city. Before she left us she made suggestions on places to eat, shop and the more special places to visit.
Good intro to Naples

Good guide who gave a good introduction to Naples. I recommend this at the start of any trip to Naples, so that u can take time to explore some of the books and crannies that were pointed out during the tour later on on your own.
Horrible Guide
, Oct 2019
I don't remember our tour guide's name, but she was just awful. The tour guide rushed us would not let us take our time, we literally would have to run to catch up to her and there was an older couple that left the tour because they just couldn't keep up. Mind you, there were only 5 of us in the group and 2 dropped out so it wasn't like she was rushing for others. She was rude and also insisted we not get her in any pictures (but wouldn't offer to take any of us like most guides do) and she would go as far as to check our phones to make sure she wasn't in any pictures. She then left us without even saying goodbye or helping us get back to where we needed to be (not even a point in the right direction in a foreign country we were just stopping for a cruise in). Between the running and rushing we were not able to enjoy Naples. I do NOT recommend this tour.
Multi langual experince
, Oct 2019
The tour guide was very experienced and interesting. But the tour was delivered in 2 languages English and Italian. If I knew this I would not take it. But I got the money worth of the time, I can not complain.

Excellent tour and great introduction to Naples
, Sep 2019
This was a great introduction to Naples, Mira was fantastic and we saw so much, with plenty to go back and visit again. The others in the group were good company and I would really recommend this as a great way to see just some of what Naples has to offer -:there's lots more - and a good way to get your bearings for further exploring.
Walking tour in Italy
, Aug 2019
Our tour guide arrived one hour late at our meeting point. We reserved English speaking tour but got grouped with Italian speaking group. It took longer to tell us the places we visited because she had to speak both English and Italian. So we missed the English speaking tour to the underground ruins. Instead, we had to take the Italian speaking tour which we didn't understand at all what the guide was saying.

We only had a short time in Naples and this walking tour was absolutely THE best way to hit the highlights and get a feel for the city. Mira was outstanding! Extremely knowledgeable and truly a great ambassador for Naples. We saw and learned way more than expected. I highly recommend this tour.
a bit disappointed

We met our tour guide Anna and she informed us that there were a few others on the tour who spoke Italian. She said the tour would be in English and Italian. As we walked the tour we couldn't help but notice the time spent with the Italian speaking guests to be much more than with us the English speaking guests. Our tour comments were always very brief while the Italian seemed to be lengthy. We were told when we booked this tour that we would have an English speaking guide. She definitely felt more comfortable speaking with her Italian guests. the tour itself was good but not as good as others we have taken in the Past in Rome and later in our vacation to Erice and Segesta.

No other way to see Napoli!
, Apr 2019
We saw so much of the real city, crossing back streets and avoiding the crazy tourist traffic. Along with Ricardo's in-depth commentary of the history and culture of the city, we left feeling as if it had been our first visit, and not our third! Ricardo made the tour; he was simply wonderful!
