Napa for first time

This was a great idea. We were first picked up at our hotel in a convertible bus. This bus was awesome bc the top opened up halfway if you wanted some vitamin D. It was great weather also. We were taken to 3 wineries (all of which you have to pay separately for tastings) it is not included in the bus tour price. At about noon they provide a good lunch. After all 3 wineries you are dropped off at your hotel again. Our driver Ziden was amazing & very polite. Would do it all over again. Thank you!

A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

We should have known better, we booked and paid for this service and sat outside our hotel waiting to be picked up, when we called they had overbooked the tour and our reservation had been canceled but they NEVER bothered to let us know. They said as a courtesy they would fit us on the next days tour! We should have known better!!! Although going to the wineries was great, when we left $130 of wine on our bus, we got NOTHING but the run around! We had to drive to the bus drivers home and he GAVE us what we thought was our bag of wine, only to find out when we drove away to catch our flight home that he had replaced our $130 worth of wine with cheaper wine that was not ours and kept our expensive wine! Our friends tried to take our wine off the bus for us for us and the driver refused to let them take it. We were told over and over that NOTHING was left on our bus. Then a very kind shop owner in Napa called and escalated it... miraculously our wine was found and had gone home with the driver. What a joke! We do NOT recommend this tour And never will.

Dropped ball

I booked a napa wine tour through this company and they never sent our reservation over! We waited at the designated spot and the driver said he did not have me down even though I called 3hours prior and was told my reservation was confirmed. So he had me call the main number to talk to someone then left, while I was on hold while they confirmed my reservation by saying viator dropped the ball and never sent them my information so we had to sit and wait for them to send another tour bus to collect us, a good hour and a half past our departure time.

What a great time my girlfriend and I had together wine tasting. Although the first winery was not our favorite Kieu Hoang and Madonna definitely made up for it! And the picnic lunch from Panera was yummy!

Wasn't thrilled with the first winery (poor customer service, just ok wine and a little disorganized). However, the other two were better. The driver was nice and made an effort to make everyone happy although he was a little hard to understand at times. My suggestion for the company would be to text or email participants with the names of the wineries in advance and communicate clearly how each visit will work upon arrival at each winery.

Great tour!

Our driver was awesome! He did a great job and made sure we were comfortable and had fun. The 3 wineries we visited were incredible with some great wines and very nice staff. Our tour was small, with 3 couples and one group of 3, and we had a really nice time talking to the other people on the tour. Overall, it was a lot of fun! The reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5: - The info on this outing said the tasting fees were around $20 per winery. Instead, they were $45 at the first winery, $35 at the 2nd, and we had a choice between $30 and $45 at the third. So overall, about twice what we expected. The wineries also didn't waive tasting fees if you only bought one or two bottles; the one place I asked said 6 or more bottles. This all may be due to COVID-19 and they are trying to recoup lost income, and the fact that capacity is lower than usual, but it was kind of a bummer. - The other reason was the picnic lunch. I requested a gluten-free option, and from what I could tell, several other people requested dairy-free, but we all had the same sandwiches on asiago cheese bread with chips and a cookie. I had brought some snacks with me because I know it's hard to get gluten-free options, and I am very glad I did because I needed them.
