Milan Mix Aperitivo and Street Food Tour - Do Eat Better Experience

It was very nice to try local food and drinks and to get some stories around those. Simon is a very professional guide and this tour is warmly recommended.

The tour wound through five stops around the canals. Starting with great cocktails, we moved to wine tasting paired with cheeses and cold cuts, then onto delicious jacket potatoes with filings inspired by various Italian regions. Next were suppli as a substitution for a dessert and then finally amazing gelato! Catarina was very nice and personable giving us a lot of information throughout the tour.

We had a most enjoyable time on this tour. Our guide Caterina was very knowledgeable about the area and each of the venues that we visited. The food and wine made it a perfect evening. Caterina also gave us tips about Milan as well.

We had a wonderfull time with Caterina who showed us the good places to eat and drink around the naviglio area in Milan! There was plenty of food and drinks on this tour! I recommend you take this tour on your First day so you know where the good food is for the following days!

The walk by the canal and all the restaurants was pretty. Location in general was great. I would have rather only went to one dessert place and visited one more bar for an Italian classic drink.

The experience was really great and Caterina was amazing. The meet up point was a bit hard to find but probably because Uber drivers and cab drivers in Italy will not drop you off at the specified location but instead they’ll drop you off nearby wherever is more convenient for them - this was very annoying. Okay back to the review. The whole area we explored was really beautiful. The drinks were pretty good and they give you the option to choose any drink you want from the menu on the first and second stop which I think was pretty great. Caterina was really great at explaining the meaning of the aperitivo, some of the history behind it and also some of the points of interest around the area we explored. She was really nice during the whole experience. About the company, I think the guides are not allowed to eat with us which I didn’t like because I cannot properly enjoy the food knowing there’s someone at the table not being able to enjoy the food with us. I didn’t feel very comfortable with this and it kinda made me feel a bit sad. The food was pretty good. Remember this is an aperitivo experience so don’t expect a full course meal but with that said….we all were full after the potatoes place (don’t remember the name) so we skipped the 4th stop and went straight to the final place - the gelateria. We had a great time on the food tour with Eleanora as our guide. She was really nice, friendly and approachable. It includes 5 stops with drinks at all but 2 locations. It’s a great way to see a different part of Milan and visit restaurants and shops you probably would of dismissed as a tourist. Don’t eat too much before hand as we left the tour completely stuffed!

We loved being shown round by Simone and Antonio. Our favourite part was the wine tasting with charcuterie board. A great way to be introduced to Milan.
