When I went to buy the ferry ticket, they told me that the Chateau is closed for the day, so I threw my money and made plans for nothing.

"Boat trip to Chateau d'If"

Boat was cancelled because of high winds. There was no warning anywhere that this was a possibility. Had to queue up and get to front desk before I saw there was a notice saying - cancelled. There should have been a notice at the front of the queue saying this - to save us from queuing - which made the whole situation even worse.
