My family and I enjoyed this tour of the Prado so much! David was an exceptional guide, able to weave together Spanish history and art in a way that made the experience both entertaining and educational alike for the adults as well as the kids in our family; I feel like we gained a much richer understanding of both. We were especially impressed by the time and care he took to show us specific works from different angles to further appreciate the technique that went into them. The three hours flew by!

I can't recommend this excursion too highly. Jaime is a delightful and passionate guide to the masterpieces of the Prado. The museum is overwhelming so he takes you to important pieces by the major artists and explains each in detail. Rather than emerging from the museum dazed and confused, we left with a clarity about the history of Spanish art.

A wonderful 3 hour tour of the Prado with Jaime can be highly recommended. The hotel pickup was right on time. This was our first visit to the museum and we only saw the highlights and Jaime provided us with interesting stories about the paintings. I think this is the best to really get the most out of a first time in museum that is worth visiting many times.

The guide Jamie from Ventana a la Cultura has been really an awesome person & so knowledgable. He was a self-responsible person to do the best justice for the job taken up. Knowing that we are laymen, he had an opportunity to skip explaining the intricate details & we would not even know nor ask him any further questions but he never did so & described every other intricate detail. He made our experience at Prado not just the best but left a wonderful feel from within us.

I booked this tour the night before our visit. We were a group of 7. Our guide Angel met us at our hotel and we all walked to the museum. The visit was excellent. Angel is a natural teacher and his passion and love of art and history were evident. We got to see many major works of art and others not so famous. Angel's descriptions of the paintings were both enlightening and entertaining. I would book another tour with Angel anytime.

Our Guide Jamie from VC was exceptional. We only had a short period and we walked out of the Prado blown away. There is so much in the Prado seeing it all is hard enough let alone understanding the significance. After Jamie's tour though we had a comprehensive understanding of evolution of oil, the mixed up but incredible minds of the artists, the context of their painting and some paintings that will stick in my mind forever. Fantastic. Thoroughly recommend it.
