  • Begin in central London when you hop inside your comfortable, air-conditioned coach. Meet your friendly, local guide, and then sit back and enjoy the sights on a panoramic drive around the heart of this historical city.

See the iconic Big Ben and Houses of Parliament in Parliament Square, and snap pictures of Westminster Abbey where Prince William and Kate Middleton were married in a grand ceremony in April 2011.

Then, gaze up at Nelson’s Column in buzzing Trafalgar Square, and drive to Buckingham Palace, the official London residence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Walk to the palace gates to watch the Changing of the Guard. Look on in delight as the soldiers of the Queen’s Foot Guard, clothed in red tunics and bearskin hats, exchange duties to the regal music of a military band, and learn about this centuries-old ceremony from your guide.

Next, continue by coach to a cozy London pub in Trafalgar Square. Sit down to a tasty lunch (own expense) and then pick up your tour again in the City of London. Located east of the West End, and famous for its financial institutions, this history-steeped district is home to the Bank of England and St. Paul’s Cathedral. Hop out for fast-track entry and a guided tour of St. Paul's Cathedral.

Afterward, pay a visit to the Tower of London, the medieval prison-fortress that stands on the north banks of the Thames River. Head inside to explore independently, and learn about the tower’s blood-soaked history. Founded in the 1080s by William the Conqueror, this imposing complex has served as a palace, armory, prison and execution site, and is known for its ravens and colorful Beefeater guides.

If you wish, join one of the complimentary Beefeater tours that run regularly from inside the gates. Learn about the famous events that took place here, and hear some of the mysteries that still haunt the complex.

Before your tour ends, receive a complimentary ticket for a sightseeing cruise on the Thames River, from the Tower of London to Westminster Pier.

Upgrade to include a ticket for the London Eye to be used that evening.

St. Paul’s cathedral was pretty interesting. Not much was visible from the bus. Changing of the guards was skipped , our guide preferred to give us a toilet break instead. And other small things she missed

St Paul's cathedral was quite beautiful, the London tower and crown jewels definitely also a must see. Our tour guide was knowledgeable. Some of the narration about the hiccups (traffic, parking, etc..) detract somewhat from the experience. Overall, would recommend. Got to also see the procession of guards during early Jubilee

A few things to share. Finding the tour station at Victoria coach station was difficult. Directions should be made clearer. The Thames river cruise part was difficult to figure out, principally because the personnel at that station are not knowledgeable of the different tickets options available. we were in two different lines and were turned back twice, we finally gave up and left . The tour guide Sheila was great , very helpful and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend her very highly. Overall it was a good tour outside of what I mentioned above.

Overall, very good. Leslie our tour guide was wonderful! And Corey, our coach driver was wonderful. Some traffic in town. Some limitations around the area because they were preparing for the Jubilee celebration in a couple of weeks. I would have liked to get closer to Buckingham Palace to see the Guards but again, limited due to barricades set up around preparing for June 2 would recommend the half day (afternoon) tour. We saw more in the afternoon than in the morning.
icon Response from Host , May 2022
Hello Elizabeth, thank you for leaving us feedback about the tour. We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us and we are sorry that you did not get to see certain parts of the tour as you would have liked, it is a busy period at the moment with the Jubilee fast approaching. We hope that next time we can offer a better experience. We hope to see you again! Best wishes Evan Evans Team

    Jam packed with everything London
    Christina_N
    , Apr 2022
Great day, jam packed full of everything London! The full day makes for a busy day, so don't dawdle, but that's a necessity of getting so much into one day. Our guide Rhys was friendly, funny and knowledgeable, and kept an eye on everyone in the tour, including helping out the less mobile people with a few options. I'd recommend this tour to people short on time in London, or wanting a good intro tour to find your feet.

Enjoy magnificent sites without Evan Evans

Finding Victoria coach station is an adventure. It‘s a separate building 1/2 mile away from Victoria Station and Underground. Look it up the day before on a map - signs on location are like small print in an insurance contract and please don‘t ask the locals (you get ten different answers from 9 people you ask). When you get to the station register at the Evan Evans office, which is a broom closet at the back of the building (if you ever find it). Look for the bus yourself. When in the bus listen to hours of negging of the „guide“ about whatever and get pounded with the message „I do this for 20-odd years now“. When you get off the bus it‘s diy all the way. Sights are magnificent and absolutely worth visiting, but consider enjoying them with a different company than Evan Evans (btw „Britain‘s finest“).

Our guide Deborah was absolutely amazing! Knowledgeable, witty, and ability to adapt to unforeseen obstacles. She knew all the best places to view the changing of the guard, and her commentary made St James Cathedral and Tower of London extremely engaging for my two kids. They learned so much in one afternoon! Would highly recommend.

    , Apr 2022
So originally I had another tour booked that got cancelled, so I was searching for other tours to go on and then stumbled on this one, and I am glad I did. Seeing all of London with an amazing guide, Leslie, who was very informative and very energetic and the driver (sorry can't remember his nickname) was awesome. He took us to a lot of little extra stops and even drove in circles so both sides of the bus could see the views/buildings it was awesome. Definitely would do this tour again and recommend to family and friends.
