Anglican Cathedral, Upper Duke Street, Liverpool.

When Liverpool falls under the atmospheric cloak of darkness, you’ll weave your wicked way to a central spot and greet your guide. Take your first tentative steps into Liverpool’s gruesome history as you stroll towards Rodney Street, on which 40 ghost sightings have been reported.

As you walk along one of Britain’s most haunted streets, listen to stories of restless specters said to roam after dark. Hear the tragic tale of Polly, a woman reputed to haunt the former nurse’s home, and feel your spine tingle at the story of ‘Lantern Jaw’, a ghost with a colossal jaw, top hat and flowing cape.

Continue to St Andrew’s Cemetery and uncover the mystery behind the legend-shrouded pyramid, said to contain the remains of a Victorian man who sold his soul to the Devil during a poker game.

Conclude your terrifying tour at the Anglican Cathedral — the largest, and reputedly most haunted, cathedral in Britain. In the graveyard, more than 58,000 bodies rest and recorded sightings of restless souls are countless.

After a 1.5-hour walk, bid your guide farewell outside of the cathedral.

5* A Class Act!

The tour was great, imagine an experience that is informative, immersive, comedic and scary at the same time and you come close to what you experience on this tour. It’s not dull at any point and is extremely good value for money! It’s perfect for the history buff or your regular average Joe! Don’t miss out on this awesome adventure! Special shout out to our hosts Chiller Black & Jaqueline Hyde, you smashed it! A brilliant comedy duo! We did this on a Saturday evening so Liverpool was busy and the way you handled the various different walks of life was awesome, it added to the whole thing! It’s a shame to say we lived to tell the tale but hey ho, you’ve got a positive review out of it! 😉
Scare fest!!

Something followed us home!

Something different to do. Very interesting. Loved Chiller Black’s passion and theatrics. Enjoyed her and Jacklyn Hyde’s interaction with our group and passer’s by. Stayed for the extra free tour at the end complete with real bats! Strange but true-that night after the tour my 12 year old stood up on his bed in the early hours during sleep and tried to reach three times at something that was not there!! He remembers nothing of it. Freaky! Is it connected??A truly marvellous tour. Well done all involved!
Great family fun.
