Las Vegas: Only On The Strip Food Tour

Grant was amazing and showed us places we would have never known to go. He provided tons of helpful information and even followed up with a recap of our tour. I would highly recommend his food tour.

We had a lovely afternoon with our guide on this tour. We ate HUGE portions of food at three locations - New York, New York, MGM Park, and Cosmopolitan, and enjoyed every bite. We even returned to one of the locations (Eaterly at MGM Park) the next day and bought food to take back to our condo. Our guide, Grant, was charming and very informative about Las Vegas and its history. He took us to a number of sites beyond just the food locations and we learned a lot about the history and happenings of this unique city. He even kept his cool when we were insulted by an “uppity” gallery employee. We would highly recommend this tour and this guide to anyone- but be sure to come hungry!

We have taken many food tours and this was not one of them. Alan, the tour guide, was prompt and very nice. He took us to a number of places and a great tour of Las Vegas highlights close to the New York, New York hotel. This included a great museum, the sky bar at the Waldorf, and a walking tour in locations that are simply unknown and not marked. So, what’s missing? Yes, the food. We started at a New York style deli and we all split a sandwich and a cookie. We then toured some and then went to a restaurant area and had bread and mozzarella cheese. After the bread we toured some more and landed at a pastry shop where we each chose a dessert and then shared them family style. Once we finished the dessert Alan gave us a piece of candy that we picked at the bread place. Next on the tour was a restaurant that only served nachos. As you may guess, we already had dessert and candy. In effect we went from dessert to an appetizer. So, we not ready for nachos. So we toured some more and ultimately wrapped up the tour. Alan asked us to write reviews and asked if there was any reason the tour would not get five stars. The comment was made that it was a great tour of the area but for a food tour, it was not so great. He did offer to take us to another location for another savory stop but we declined. Again, this was our choice. I cannot say that we went away hungry. I can say from a food tour perspective, we were unsatisfied.
