Your Grand Canyon helicopter tour starts with pickup from your Las Vegas hotel by a luxury van.

After your transfer to the airport in Boulder City, receive a warm welcome from your pilot and a safety briefing for your flight in a state-of-the-art A-Star helicopter. Then take to the skies for your flight to the Grand Canyon. You'll get amazing views along the way, passing over Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Fortification Hill and the dark volcanic cliffs of the Black Canyon.

When you arrive at the Grand Canyon, your pilot flies you through the canyon to look at the colorful rock walls and see the Colorado River up close, then follow the path of the Colorado River past rock formations that formed millions of years ago. Keep your camera handy for photo ops of cathedral buttresses, sculptural rock pillars and enormous canyon expanses everywhere you look.

During the return flight, see other natural wonders such as the rugged Mojave Desert wilderness.

Itinerary
Pass By:
Hoover Dam
Take a break from the Las Vegas bustle and have some fun of a different kind on this helicopter tour to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World -- the Grand Canyon! You’ll be picked up from your Vegas hotel by a Mercedes Benz van and driven to the helicopter departure site in Boulder City, where builders of the Hoover Dam (formally the Boulder Dam) lived during the dam’s construction in the 1930s. En route, enjoy amazing aerial views of the Hoover Dam and the new bypass bridge, Lake Mead and Black Canyon.
Pass By:

Fly past Fortification Hill, an extinct, colorful volcano, and listen to informative commentary from your pilot.
Pass By:
Lake Mead National Recreation Area
Fly over Lake Mead, created after the building of the Hoover Dam in 1931.

When you reach the Grand Canyon, descend into its depths and soar like an eagle over the Colorado River, past geological rock formations that are millions of years old. Don't forget your camera! Around every corner you’ll see cathedral buttresses and rock pillars with amazing, vivid colors!

Great time in a helicopter.

We had a nice time. Mike was our pilot and he did a great job explaining things to us. I don’t think the description is 100% accurate or it was a bit misleading. It mentions snacks and water which makes you think it will be available for the tour. They did offer us water before and water/soft drinks after while showing us the picture that was taken of us (to purchase). Snacks were available to buy. For the price you pay, it would have been nice to be offered a snack and drink. The helicopter ride was amazing though.

Had my tour scheduled at 5pm and they changed it to 3pm because tickets didn't sale. My 3pm got delayed till 4, We were packed like sardines and the AC wasn't blowing cold air. This flight had no layover like they said and is overpriced. Do not recommend.

This was a great experience! Our pilot Jimmy was not only super knowledgeable and safe but he was great entertainment!! The flight itself was nothing like I've ever experienced! It was amazing seeing everything from up that high, we flew past the hoover dam, lake mead, then the grand canyon! Then were dropped off to view the grand canyon, guano hill (? Forgot what it was called?) And eagle point, the day was a little windy and chill but beautiful still!!! Id recommend this tour especially if you never been on a helicopter!!! Jimmy was fabulous!!!!

Our pilot, JImmy, was knowledgeable and gave a great description of the sights. He had a nice sense of humor while flying the helicopter in a safe and professional manor. The flight through the Grand Canyon will continue to be an awesome memory. The Staff at 5 Star Helicopter were all so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Bad experience and dishonesty

An officer called me to offer a grade up to similar tour for free. I was thinking for a while because the proposed tour would start in just 6 hours, and then she told the truth. My tour would not be held due to lack of attendees and I followed her proposal but I am not sure why she told in a roundabout way. The next day, when I was checking in, the officer said I need an additional fee for a gradeup. She did not believe I was told that I could join another tour for free, and I needed to pay additional fee. Further, the pilot took a photo of other attendees but did not that of myself in front of grand canyon. Finally, I was assigned a bad seat from which I cannot see grand canyon well in the outward trip. In the return trip, I was assigned a window seat but I could not see grand canyon because the return trip did not follow the same route as the outward trip.
