All in all, very good experience!

The tour was great. However, the drivers screwed up twice. The first one was at the park when he went ahead to the next stop, Bright Angel Lodge, without telling anyone. A small group took the shuttle there, while the rest hiked the trail. We waited over an hour for them to arrive. The second time the driver screwed up was when the guide said that those that first got on the bus that morning would be the first to get off at the end of he trip. That did not happen.

Disappointed

The grand canyon part of the trip was amazing. But 3 things on this tour wasn't. First thing is that when I called and booked it they said they would pick me up at my hotel. Which the day before I get a text telling me I would be picked up at a different hotel a block away. Sucks having to walk down to another hotel at 6:00 I'm the morning. Then on the description of the tour it says its in a luxury bus. It was a sprinter van. So there is 1 lie on the description of the tour. Then the 2nd lie it says you will visit the Hoover Dam. That never happened. When we were coming back that night and it was pitch dark we were on the highway across from the dam and you couldn't even see the dam it was so dark. I asked about a partial refund but they said there was nothing they could do. So you won't get the tour you pay for on this one.

Was 2nd trip to the South Rim Grand Canyon. This tour took a walk around the South Rim. Just breathtaking views! Our guide was Jorge and driver Dawn. Both very professional and friendly. Long day, appropriate number of stops No better way to see the Rim! Pictures don’t do the Beauty of the canyon justice. You have to go to feel the beauty!

Book with another agency!

The driver/guide was knowledgeable and did a very good job. The experience overall was however not what we expected. I travelled with my son and we could not be together on the bus because a very large individual was taking almost two seats, so my son travelled in the front with the driver and I travelled in the back... so we could not enjoy things together for the 12 hours of travel. This was very disappointing! In addition, they called me the day before travel to say they couldn’t ho because the bus needed maintenance and they offered us to go the West side instead of the South. Then, an hour later they said the trip was still going but it was a small van instead of the larger bus. The seats were quite uncomfortable for a long day of travel. I won’t do anything again with Viator. Book with a different agency!

We appreciate your detailed review. We apologize if you were not able to sit with your son during the tour. We understand your frustration but we cannot discriminate our passengers. The reason why we offered the Van an hour later was to ensure that you still get the chance to see the Grand Canyon. We're hoping for your kind understanding for we only did what we can to make the tour happen.

Tour guide Brandon was great. Be prepared for mild to moderate strenuous activity. We only saw Hoover Dam in passing at night.

We had a great time on this tour, the day is long but they make it interesting with a few great stops along the way. Jordan was our tour guide he was knowledgeable and kept it interesting. He also made sure all his group was accounted for. The walking tour add on was worth it. I'm so happy with how the tour went, it was an enjoyable day for my hubby and I.
