Return Details

Returns to original departure point
This Grand Canyon sightseeing tour begins with a hotel limousine pickup in Las Vegas, followed by a 45-minute flight to the Grand Canyon.

After boarding the helicopter, the flight passes over sites such as the famous Hoover Dam, a modern marvel of engineering, and the aqua waters and sandstone shorelines of beautiful Lake Mead. Also, soar over the Black Mountains, the Grapevine Mesa Joshua Trees Forest, the Grand Wash Cliffs Wilderness, and into the incredible landscape of the Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

Upon reaching the Grand Canyon, hover high above this worldwide wonder, and then descend down between the canyon’s walls, over the mighty Colorado River and past geological rock formations that span millions of years. Be sure to bring a camera for the one-of-a-kind photo opportunities. After landing at a spot some 4,000 feet (1,219 meters) beneath the rim of the canyon, enjoy a complimentary champagne picnic lunch.

When leaving the Grand Canyon, the return flight will feature a different route with a fantastic view of the Las Vegas strip. The trip concludes with a Las Vegas hotel drop-off.

Waited two hours, were very rushed, and loved the views.

Pilot did a great job! Personable and professional. The limo picked us up at 420pm, 20 minutes ahead of schedule with little to no warning. We waited TWO HOURS at the airport before boarding the aircraft. Staff at no time spoke to us regarding the delay in takeoff while at your terminal. It appeared we were forgotten. An explanation of our wait time should have been communicated to us. Because the aircraft arrived late, we were rushed onto the helicopter without the opportunity to ask questions and feel comfortable. We had less the 15 minutes of time parked into the canyon because we were behind schedule at sunset - very disappointing. We have done this heli tour before and had the opportunity to chat with the pilot and ask questions throughout the ride. The mics on the headsets did not work so we couldn’t communicate with each other or the pilot - also disappointing. Couldn’t get a framed picture of the experience either - sad deal. We loved the views and the pilot’s personality but we did NOT receive a $500 experience.

Trying to take pictures from the back seat and not being offered an option to buy the front seat until just before boarding the helicopter.

Front staff rude

We made a reservation far in advance for two couples (four people). They tried splitting us up so that the 2 guys were on one helicopter and us girls on another. They said “we are all going to the same place”, but it’s experiencing the helicopter journey together that we paid for and why we booked it . Not to mention i didn’t even know at the time that my boyfriend (now fiancé) was going to propose during the landing at the Grand Canyon . I had to fight to be able to ride in the helicopter with him even though we booked it as one reservation. Our pilot was great but the front staff was rude.

Helicopter and champagne picnic. Viator agent has no clue what actually takes place. Promise to pick us up at our hotel when it was actually the hotel next door. Name of limo was not what we were told to look for, so much stress here. Viator takes too long to respond. Had confirmation on our ride but was changed late the next day to a later time. Would not recommend Viator.

Beautiful sceneries is the first thing I think of. Our flight pilot she was very knowledgeable and friendly. The picnic part wasn’t the romantic idea I thought it would be, but being down in the Canyon was something I recommend everyone do. Oh, they’re on time too!!
