It was a nice ride. It was a cloudy day so we didn’t get views of the volcano and there was also a bit of a drizzle but it was still a good time! The fresh coconut water at the top was delicious!

We would definitely recommend this excursion! We took our 9 year old on this and she loved it! Our tour guide was Alonso and he was great! We had a small group (4) and it felt very personable! The ride was about 1.5 hours and the views at the end were breathtaking! It was a clear day when we went so you could see everything including the Arenal Volcano at the end! The trail the horses go on is on grass/dirt…little more bumpy but was still worth every minute. You go the back road to get the views. The tour is definitely worth doing!

It was a great way to see the Volcano on a horse back ride. Horses were very gentle and the guides were very careful with every member of the group. They made sure that we all stayed together and had good time. Half way thru the ride that offered all of us fresh coconut water which was very refreshing. Great experience!

The ride was nice, great views, super nice guides, safety first, But price was a rip off, Twice the price of any other rides we had in Sarapiquí, was on the border of hanging bridges, so no real jungle experience, was listed as 2.5 hours but we were back in 1.5 hours, I thought the the exorbitant price was due to an entrance fee to hanging bridge park, but when I went to do a guided tour there was no discount, after a discussion with a lovely gentleman, the receptionist gave us a 20% discount, at least they acknowledged I took the horse ride

Such a great experience!!! The tour guide was the best! He took photos and videos of everyone on the tour without us having to ask. I got soooo many great pics and vids. Great conversation. This experience was amazing from start to finish. My horse, abuela was great. She’s the boss of the other horses. 😂 I had such a great time! Thank you so much!!

The guides and horseback riding were fantastic! We had an awesome time. I felt the wording was not clear in the description as we believed the tickets also included park entrance to the hanging bridges which it did not. The wording said “front entrance admission”. There is not a fee to anyone for that part so…another $27pp for the bridges. Please know though, the horseback riding part was wonderful…gorgeous views.

Incredible guides and such a wonderful way to see the volcano! Includes entrance to the hanging bridges park, so you can take that walk on your own, making the entire day a complete steal! Best thing we did in La Fortuna.

The main trail is 3.2 km and passes through 6 Hanging Bridges. We also have two short cuts available for people looking not to walk so much, including an accessible trail. The horseback riding was amazing, beautiful scenery! The guides were nice. We did have to ask for what was advertised as included in the tour (e.g. seeing one of the hanging bridges and water). Would have been better not to have to ask!
