Fun way to exercise.

In addition to being a good tour guide, Po shared Hawaiian culture with us. Kayaking on the river was safe and fun. The hike to the waterfalls was manageable. Walking on the rocks was sometimes hard and slippery, especially when crossing the river.

Aloha Maria, Always have felt this is a great combo of upper and lower body exercise; by the time your arms are getting tired of paddling...you are out of your kayak and hiking. Solid water shoes help those slippery crossings. Will share this review with your guide Pohaku. Thanks for the nice review...and keep moving and exercising. A hui hou, Micco

Kayaking made me want to come back for more
Adriana_R
, May 2021
This was a fun adventure. I got to ride with our guide Logan. He did great at his job. Fun listening to all the history and asking him questions about what to do in Kaua'i too. Kayaking was my favorite part and I'd love to come again and do more kayaking. We got to walk through the river and next time I'd wear my bathingsuit the whole time or some type of swim shorts that dry faster. :)
icon Response from Host , May 2021
Aloha Adriana, Logan is allot of fun to work with as well. Want more paddling, come back and enjoy our Hanalei snorkel and/or Na Pali sea kayak tours. Stay paddling and thanks for your nice review. A hui hou, Micco PS....quick drying garments is the trick on what to wear in the water or the trail.

Very enjoyable experience
Brendell_A
, May 2021
Very knowledgeable guide. Informed about almost everything on the trip very caring took care of his people, excellent! Lunch was very yummy and our guide had fresh cut pineapple for us at the waterfall. The hike to the falls might not be for everyone, very young or the very old, some parts were very easy other parts were slippery and hard to maneuver but mostly a very exciting hike with all the different facets of the jungle
icon Response from Host , May 2021
Aloha Brendel, We all try to do a good job in the office and on the field. All our guides remain pretty good if not excellent. Glad you enjoyed the lunch and thanks for describing the trail to the Falls and what might be in store for those thinking of paddling and hiking with Kayak Kaua'i. Keep paddling and hiking. A hui hou, Micco
