What a wonderful experience! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable of the champagne region and making process. We learned so much at the champagne “school” and lunch was divine. The setting could not have been more beautiful. After lunch, we traveled to P. Lancelot-Royer and took a tour of their production process. Followed by yet another tasting. The tour was amazing. The company was amazing and the weather could not be beat.

Angelique was the best tour guide we could have imagined. She took us to some of her favourite lookouts to get a better understanding of the area. After that, she gave us 360 degree insights into Champagner production. From Harvest to bottle. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Anna. We all learned so much about Champagne, especially all the regulations in place to produce. Unfortunately, she did not drive us through the Champagne Avenue as described in the inclusions. Perhaps she had already done this with the group from Reims. There was also a mix up with returning us to Epernay as half the group started from Reims and we were picked up at Epernay. The tour ended in Epernay but she drove to Reims to drop off the first group and then back to Epernay. By the time we got back to Epernay all the shops were closed and we had wanted to do some shopping. Other than that, we would highly recommend this tour. Just make sure and question the driver when they start heading out of town near the end of the tour if you take the tour from Epernay. Also, remind them about Champagne Avenue!

Our tour gave us a chance to see more of the countryside around Epernay , including the village of Hautvillers. We learnt a lot about how champagne is made and the tour of the boutique winery was excellent. We would definitely recommend this tour because it was so personal.
