HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR
Jayne_H

I would highly recommend this tour with Stuart Usher. We booked it for our first morning in Edinburgh and learnt so much about this wonderful historical city in 3 hours. Stuart made the tour interesting but amusing too with his little anecdotes. We covered a lot of ground at a nice pace and stopped off for a lovely coffee break at Deacon Brodie’s Cafe too. This is a great walking tour. Thankyou Stuart it was lovely to meet you too.

Dear Jayne Thank you so much for your super Review.. I am v happy that you enjoyed the Tour and the anecdotes so much. Plenty more to learn about and enjoy in the city as one can cover only so much in three hours. Brodie was a devil! We would love to host you again some sweet day! Best wishes Stuart U

Alison took our tour and we had a great time. Really enjoyed her story telling and in particular the story of Deacon Broadie. We would highly recommend the tour!

Dear Robert Thank you v much for your lovely Review of your Tour with Alison. Yes, that Deacon Brodie was some man! Actually he has become some sort of Hero if Edinburgh ....mainly because he robbed the British Government Tax Office in Edinburgh! He was the only person who managed to do that in British history. Resourceful but nasty, unfortunately. Best wishes Stuart U

Relaxed and informative Edinburgh walking tour

Brilliant tour yesterday with Alison. This lady knows her history and the tour was relaxed, conversational and informative. We have been to Edinburgh before and love the atmosphere of the place but this tour was absolutely fascinating bringing to life the history of the buildings and the people. We were a very small group, which was what we wanted (can’t be dealing with some of the massive walking groups we saw in town!) and enjoyed the company of Jodie and Robbie. Thanks guys. Big thanks to Alison.

Dear Jim Many thanks for your marvellous Review of your Tour with Alison. Alison knows more about the History of Edinburgh than anyone I know and most importantly is a master at sharing it with our Clients like yourselves. This obviously makes for a more informative and congenial experience all round. You sound as though you might come to Auld Reekie again...... Edinburgh has some sort of magic about it! If so we would be delighted to host you again. Best wishes Stuart.

If you're looking for the quintessential Scottish tour guide, Stuart Usher is the perfect choice. He is knowledgable, engaging and has just the right balance of fun trivia with historical detail. It seems he is part of the fabric of the town. He also gave us a great list of what to do on our own as we continued to explore Edinburgh. We give Stuart our unqualified endorsement.

Dear Matthew Many thanks indeed for your glowing Review of our great Tour together. A bit of fun trivia now and then interlaced with the history of the city makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable and lasting. I have always found that to be the case. Plus having a fair sense of humour myself I enjoy it all the more! Please do visit us again someday. Best wishes Stuart U

Small Group Size with More Attention to You!

Stuart for sure helped me get a good bearing of where to visit at Edinburgh. It was also great having a small group visiting various sites. Even though I was there for a day, I now have a game plan the next time I come back. Thank you very much, Stuart!

Dear Matthew Thank you for your great Review. I am delighted that you felt our Tour enabled you to make a Game Plan for your next visit to our beautiful city. You should allow a minimum of three days in Edinburgh to do full justice to both yourself and the City! Best wishes Stuart U.

Excellent tour of the city
Dana_S

Our guide was wonderful. He knew such detail into the history of the city and its characters-good and not so good. He spoke clearly and allowed for questions at all times. We did a lot of walking. He found clean restrooms and made sure our group was always safe and comfortable. He is an expert on Usher history and wrote a wonderful book he shared with us. Highly recommend this tour!

Dear Dana Many thanks for your marvellous Review. We all had a great time. However there are plenty more places to visit and enjoy in Edinburgh. Plenty of Museums, Art Galleries and so on. I suspect that the city has more of such attractions than any city in the whole of the UK, relative to its size. The same applies to the city's Pubs and Restaurants. You really must visit again!? Best wishes Stuart U.
