We end on the side of the Denver Central Market, an upscale food hall with various food and drink vendors, a little under 1/2 mile from the starting point.

  • The majority of the walking tour is paved. There are one or two sections that may go over hard-packed dirt. And we also go down an alleyway for a few blocks that sometimes has debris and/or glass. We have had many strong people in wheel chairs on the tour with no problems, but those in wheel chairs without a lot of strength may find it difficult in certain sections.

Jana was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, considerate, and fun! Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We are Colorado natives and visual artists ourselves who have not spent much time in the Rino district since moving to northern Colorado 15 years ago. We loved getting the inside information on this vibrant, evolving art form. We will look at both murals and graffiti with greater understanding and respect. The art itself was stunning and the area, though pricey and, sadly, gentrified is exciting to explore.

I had never really thought much about graffiti, the history, and what it represents before the tour with James. We were visiting from Seattle and James provided insight into Denver and it's graffiti culture and how it relates to the changes taking place within the city. It's a great tour and I'm sure you'll learn something!
