Cozumel by buggy

What a fun, relaxing day! Snorkeling was the best. Jose, our instructor was so patient and fun! The food, atmosphere and locals were authentic and kind. The tequila tasting was informative and entertaining. We learned the history of Cozumel through our guide Hernon. The ride back along the coast with a stop at the beach for photos wrapped up our day. Hernon and Jose made our trip special. I highly recommend them!!

A Fun and Unique Way to See the Best of Cozumel

What a super way to see the island! The dune buggy is fun and easy to drive, so if you can drive a stick shift it's a piece of cake. I was the only person in my party, so my guide José gave me the option of having either of us drive. In the end we split it 50/50 and I loved getting to just hang out and look around. The tour takes you across the island to the very quiet west side, then around the bottom and back up to town. First stop, a beach club with great drinks, tons of lounge chairs and hammocks, and a few rock outcroppings making the ocean view even more dramatic as waves crashed in from the open sea. Really awesome way to start the day! Back in our buggy we drove down the coast stopping at a few more cool spots and tiny ocean side beach bars for some photos, before our second stop to see one of the original Mayan temples. An interesting spot historically, and we also did a quick tequila tasting. So educational all around. The final stop was at Sky Reef for snorkeling and lunch. 30-45 minutes of snorkeling was just the perfect amount for me. The water was crystal clear and we saw a ton of colorful fish and coral. Then fish tacos for lunch with a pina colada, and back into town. A great day to see the highlights of the island in a fun and unique way. Alex, the office manager, was also EXTREMELY helpful and kind as I needed to make a few adjustments to the schedule. He was so great - and even though I was tricky and forgot some details he'd provided, he was super kind and very very helpful. Great guys, all of them! I highly recommend this tour!

This was a great day. I was so concerned about my adult son in a wheel chair but Hernan and Rudy were so great I knew he was in great hands. They anticipated all our needs and were so gracious about it!

Very well thought out tour. The guides are friendly, interactive, and engaged. Really fun to drive the buggy’s fast down empty straightaways with gorgeous views of the ocean. The stops along the way are off thr Beaten path with delicious snacks and lunch. The snorkeling was simply beautiful to view. Excellent ! Only thing- buggys need a little work - but that is also part of the fun Thank you!

This tour was great! Omar was our guide and took us around the whole island. We had a chance to do a Tequila tasting, learn some history, swim and even snorkel. We were able to visit a nice private beach, which was very pleasant to not have to deal with the big crowds. It was extremely cool riding around in the buggy's, and the excursion takes up most of your day, so you definitely get a ton of value for the price. If you book this excursion please request Omar. He was Awesome!!

Amazing tour. Our guide Omar was very kind with us. The Buggy was very fun to drive. All 3 stops were different and interesting. The visit to Mayan village was instructive. The snorkling was great and really safe as long as Omar was with us all the time.

Let me start by saying the guys that did the tour with us were amazing...friendly, fun, knowledge. The cars were fun, but not in the best repair. It feels a little rushed at times. Having said that, it was a good experience overall and I would reccomend this tour. Make sure you tip these guys they work hard!
