A tour to be Revere’d and more

An amazing tour of some of America’s most historic places and our guide John F. was a great storyteller who kept the group not only informed but entertained. It was a delightful experience!

There were at least 40 people in our tour which made it difficult, about 10 more jumped in while just walking along and the guides microphone was broken—so shouting at a group that size while on the streets of Boston is not the best day.

Great waddling tour

The older female guide was great! She kept excellent control and care over the group. She was funny and full of information. Only complaint: the group size was too big and sometimes it was hard to hear her.

Our guide represented John Hancock and was a wealth of knowledge. He added just the right amount of humor throughout. He did a good job trying to project his voice over the city noises so that all could hear.

Great overview of the Rev War!

Tour guide (‘Deborah Sampson’) was fantastic, gave an outstanding historical narrative. The down side was that the group was huge and unwieldy, about 50 people. That’s way too many, and made it hard to keep the group together and hear everything. Also FYI this only covers a portion of the Freedom Trail, not the whole thing as I had thought. Still, worth the time and money.

Eight Dissatisfied Customers

The Granary Burying Ground. Our tour guide was very interesting when we could hear her. We thought she would have used a microphone so that the 30 plus people in our group could hear her. We could have taken a self guided tour and found out information on our own. The tour cost us $26.00 per person and was NOT WORTH IT!! A REFUND WOULD BE WARRANTED due to our dissatisfaction.

“John Hancock” provided a tour filled with historical information about landmarks in the city and Boston itself, “his” experience and of his Patriot friends - all at a comfortable pace with regular check-ins with the group and lots of humor.
