Spend a relaxed half-day on an afternoon tour from Bordeaux to sample the famous wines of either the St-Emilion or Medoc wine regions. Visit two historic châteaux to taste wines along the way.

Medoc wine tour:

Enjoy the scenic drive along the Castle Road of the Medoc region, passing well-known châteaux like Mouton-Rothschild, Latour or Margaux. Pause at a few photo-worthy places – in between learning about the history of the Bordeaux wine region from your expert guide – on your way to the first stop.

Arrive at the first château for a vineyard visit and wine tasting. You may stop at any one of several classified growth châteaux, including Paloumey, Siran, Cantenac-Brown or Lagrange. Tour the wine cellars, hear about the wine-making process and sample more wine, along with an array of French cheeses, bread and sausage.

At the second stop, visit the wine cellars and tour the château of this family-run estate, after which you'll get some additional wine-tasting expertise with a wine workshop.

St-Emilion wine tour:

Admire the beauty along the drive from Bordeaux into the St-Emilion countryside on the way to one of the following classified growth châteaux: Ferrand, Grand Mayne, Soutard or Pressac.

Sip a glass of the château's wine as you nibble on an assortment of local cheeses, fresh bread and sausage and learn about the wine-making process from your guide.

From there, head for a tour of the village of St-Emilion itself, a UNESCO-listed town that is partly carved from the surrounding rock. There are almost 800 châteaux in and around St-Emilion, one of which is your next stop.

Arrive at a family-run estate and take a guided stroll through the vineyards before adding to your growing knowledge of French wines with a wine workshop.

Tour really well done by Jerome , very helpful and knowledgeable. We stopped at several small producers and their tours were terrific. Our guide choose an excellent spot in Saint Emilion for lunch.

Such a fun day tour to 2 Medoc region chateaus. Air conditioned transport, a very knowledgeable and kind guide, private interactive tours of the chateaus, ending with some yummy snacks to eat. Absolutely sign up for this tour- it made our Bordeaux trip perfect!

Arrived at 1.30pm, 15min early, walked around the monument (meeting point) and could not see the guide or any reference. As it was very wet we went to the visitor information center (100m away) - there were some other winery tours meeting here and we were told by the staff in the center that our guide would meet us out the front. At 1.45pm we walked around the monument again, no guide to be seen. At 1.59pm called the tour company to find out what was going on - only to be told the group had left. They advised me they had called my mobile but no call was received. No options were given to us to rebook or to get a refund, just told we were considered a 'no show' and subsequently lost our money. While we didn't go on the tour (and it may have been great) this review is for them to improve there process - perhaps an orange/red/yellow umbrella that defines where the guide is. As you can imagine very disappointed.
Terrible experience

I disliked the trip because the van seated 7 people and I was made to sit away from my partner the entire day. The tour guide should of asked that the group swap around so to allow each couple a turn to sit apart. He tried to tell us to sit in the front stealthy but the rest of the group didn’t show any interest in giving up their seats. I don’t appreciate paying so a high price so I could sit alone away from my partner. I would not suggest this trip or your website to anyone who wants to enjoy themselves

Hello Michael_M, We are sorry to hear that your experience with us was not up to your expectations. Indeed you appeared upset during the tour. Your guide asked you several times if he could do something for you. We are not sure that the problem was coming from us as the tour went perfectly well for the other guests. Thank you anyway for letting us know about this problem, as we care about making 100% of our customers satisfied.

Stunning views of St Emilion - amazing wine!!! Well worth the money. Great bread and cheese. Lovely way to see the Bordeaux country side.
Walk in Cru classified Chateaux.

Remy gave us a very enjoyable day. He was able to share good information and answer our questions. The Chateaux we visited gave us an example of a traditional winery and a very cutting edge winery. It was fascinating to see the contrast. The wine tasting part was not too much for the non-drinkers in our group.
Perfect day at Medoc
, Dec 2021
Quentin gave us a lot of interesting information about the grapes and wine production in Medoc region. The tour was fantastic and he also stopped at Margaux Château to make pictures (my fiancé was dreaming about that). It was a perfect day, very funny and pleasant. The tasting was also very good, with good wines, snacks and a lot of laughs. I highly recommend.
