Moving right along, check out the panorama of Berlin’s skyline, highlighted by the iconic TV Tower, from the landmark Oberbaum Bridge above the Spree River that runs through the city. Sip on a wostok, or German lemonade, and learn about the history of this eclectic neighborhood, including some interesting tidbits involving the hurling of vegetables.

Visit a number of street-food stands, a Turkish café, and a beer hall. Enjoy four food samples, including currywurst, a fried pork sausage with curry-seasoned ketchup dish, and the German classic rollmops, a fillet of herring that’s rolled around a pickle, then marinated in brine and served as an appetizer. A group of friends and I did this tour and were disappointed by what we got out of it for the price that we paid. We fully enjoyed the tour and our tour guide, Petra, was wonderful. But there’s absolutely no way that a currywurst with fries and a beer and a small beer tasting (3) with a kebab would’ve cost us $96 had we done it on our own. The street art and fun facts and history of Kreuzberg was a plus!

This was a great tour. We were the only ones on the tour so it was very customized to our desires. We cut out some of the history stuff and went straight for the food. This tour helped us discover Kreuzberg as a GREAT part of Berlin. We went back ourselves the next night.

It is a great tour. However, you must be aware that you will not eat for 90-120 minutes into the tour. We were under the assumption that this is a food tour, and that you eat throughout, but eating only happens in the later portion of the tour. It is a great tour, the guide is excellent, but do not come to this tour hungry.

Very disappointing. The tour guide was not knowledgeable and seemed like he did not want to be there. We did not have Typical Berlin lemonade, it was bottled lemonade from a store. The curry stand was typical and the guide almost left without paying the owner. Half way through the tour we left. Viator is pretty good with most of their tours, this one was an exception.

Great way to see West Berlin. Most tours take you around the east side, but this one gave insight to the life on the west side. Great starter tour if you just arrived for the first time. You get to try the lemonade that is only sold in this area, the normal food of the locals, a treat from the candy shop and a beer at the end. Saw a lot of the graffiti and experienced a side of Berlin that we didn't see on the other tours. Highly recommend this one.

Had a fun and interesting walking tour of Kreuzberg with Manfred. It's his neighborhood so he was able to tell us all about it from a personal level. It really is a nice area with lots to see. Loved the Eastside Gallery, beautiful old bridge and evening views down the River Spree. Trying out the local food was fun, especially liked the Turkish treats! Really interesting tour, good to see an alternative side to Berlin away from the big tourist areas. But a couple of improvements - 1 build in time to look at the art on the wall disappointed we rushed away from that 2 FInd better food - the rollmop herrings are really not going to be liked by many people 3 don't walk through dodgy parks!!
