I was hesitant about booking this because I was pretty exhausted from my trip but I’m so glad I went on this tour. Daryl was one of the best tour guides I’ve had so far - his english was very good, he was informative on everything, and he made the trip super fun. This was one of the highlights of my trip, and I’d highly recommend this!

A Coffee Garden and La Cruce View - Worth Every Minute!

This was incredibly rewarding - perfect mix of seeing the city on the "ground level" while visiting a coffee farm full of history, education, and surprises. In addition to the coffee farm itself, there are little pleasures hidden away on the site including a craft bar, a beautiful activity center, and a walking garden full of exotic plants and fruits. After the coffee farm, you'll take your ATVs up to La Cruce for a great view (so make sure you don't duplicate this item on your itinerary). Completely worth the time and money. Daryl, our guide, speaks incredibly fluent English and is a great guide and travel party member. Highly recommend.

Such a fun way to visit a local coffee farm in Antigua! Getting around the neighborhood on ATVs was exciting. The coffee plantation came complete with a tour that walks you from their harvest, to processing, drying, and roasting. Great views of the volcanos on the drying coffee beds. The additional stop at Cerro de la Cruz was also a great way of looking out onto the town of Antigua - such a beautiful landscape of colonial churches and cobblestone roads. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible time on this tour. We booked at the last moment (we wanted to wait how we felt about an activity the day after our flight to Guatemala) and we are so happy we made the choice to do the morning tour! We had a lot of fun riding the ATVs around town and found the coffee plantation very informative and beautiful. We felt very safe the whole time and like the tour was of excellent value.

Great way to spend half a day in Antigua

This tour was awesome! If you walk around Antigua for any amount of time, it won't be long before you see stacks of brightly colored bags of Azotea coffee. This tour takes you behind the scenes on the Azotea plantation, and allows you to see all the steps of their coffee production. It is immediately obvious how much care and manpower go into the growing and processing of the Azotea coffee beans; you'll see virtually zero mechanical equipment. The ATVs bring a lot of fun to the experience, and are not "gimmicky" at all. You can leave on ATVs straight from the tour office, no shuttle required, and it is already worth the tour cost just for the adrenaline surge from navigating out of town between Chikken buses and motorcycles. After zipping around the plantation, our guides took us across town again to drive up some winding roads that lead to the top of Cerro del Cruz - a view that shouldn't be missed. I'm so thrilled I squeezed this tour into my short trip to Antigua!
