How to Get There
York Bird of Prey Centre is situated at the Burn Hall Hotel, north of York city center. It’s easily reachable by private vehicle; follow the A19 road before turning onto Baston Lane. Alternatively, catch the number 40 bus to Huby from Exhibition Square in the city center and disembark at the Methodist Church. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to York Bird of Prey Centre.
When to Get There
York Bird of Prey Centre opens every day except Tuesday, from 10.30am to 5pm. Arrive in the morning to ensure you catch a bird of prey flying exhibition and visit midweek for the quietest experience. Harry Potter fans should visit in late October for the themed Harry Potter weekend.
