2 thumbs up!
Max was our driver, he was so informative-we learned so much about Savannah! Sure was a wonderful way to get an idea about how things are set up in the city for further exploring. He pointed out his favorite restaurants and recommended other fun things to do. Such a good experience for us.

Savannah Land & Sea Combo: City Sightseeing Trolley Tour with Riverboat Cruise
I enjoyed the trolley tour The riverboat was boring and annoying with the love bugs. View was mostly industrial. I enjoyed seeing the Ozark gambling riverboat and the fort with the canyon going off.

Savannah Land & Sea Combo: City Sightseeing Trolley Tour with Riverboat Cruise
I really didn't think this was going to be a great tour. My husband set the tour up, and I really did like it, and found it very interesting. It made me realize how our goods get from overseas here, and our exports go overseas. The size of the cargo ships is amazing and some of the large yachts that are ocean going, you won't see in many places.

Very informative. The tour gave us a chance to see the entire city plus an added bonus of shuttle service all over town. Well worth the money.

Land was better than the sea

Savannah Land & Sea Combo: City Sightseeing Trolley Tour with Riverboat Cruise
We preferred the "Land" part of the Tour. There really isn't that much to see from the boat. The tour guide even said that we were turning around a lot because there was a bad smell up the river. The break in between the two tours was nice, and just long enough. It also gave us the opportunity to see the riverfront.

We really enjoyed the land part. The sea part was a tad boring. It was nice to be on the water though!

The History of Savannah City Market

The market still stands on the site used by farmers and traders since the city’s founding. Originally the most popular destination for locals in search of groceries, the market survived two fires, a huge hurricane, and the Civil War. It fell into disrepair as the city spread out, but was revived by preservationists dedicated to Savannah's history, and today is a destination for locals and travelers alike in search of arts and culture.
