River Walk, San Antonio, TX 78205

The Basics

The River Walk has a lively vibe throughout the day and draws large crowds in the evenings; dinner reservations are recommended or you may find yourself waiting a while. A great way to experience the River Walk—other than on foot—is by taking a 35-minute boat tour, featuring entertaining stories about the San Antonio River’s rich history. You can combine the boat ride with a hop-on, hop-off bus or trolley tour, and consider adding a stop at the Tower of the Americas or the Battle for Texas Show as well.

the view from the top of the tower was amazing - we did the river boat at dark, wished we had taken the tour during the daytime; although warmer outside felt like we could have seen more and/or better on this fast paced adventure.

San Antonio River Walk Cruise and Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley Tour
The Hop-on-hop=off River Cruise was lots of fun, relaxing and the River boat captains were funny and knowledgeable. It was disappointing that access to the Shuttle boats to get back to our Parking spots was not included in the $69 ticket per person. Would recommend that it should be or maybe a couple of dollars could be added to the ticket to make available this facility.

San Antonio River Walk Cruise, Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley Tour & Tower of Americas
Great way to get around and to get a feel for the city. We were here on a Monday and unfortunately a lot is closed but we still enjoyed the ride on the bus. Our boat driver was full of information! The Tower of the America's was a great view and the 4-D film was fun. Highly recommend the 3 activity combo!

San Antonio River Walk Cruise and Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley Tour
The historical boat tour was fascinating. Our guide was knowledgeable and answered questions easily. We learned a lot and the boat was comfortable. We were on two different buses. One was ideal with a pleasant driver. The other driver was loud and crude. We did not stay on that bus too long. All in all we enjoyed the experience.

Great tour, smooth tour moves, the transition from bus to tower to bus to boat was good. I recommend this tour to anyone.
