Start your visit in the historic center of Branson – downtown. Founded more than 125 years ago, this is the heart of Branson. You’ll take a step back in time walking the streets lined with Victorian lampposts, brick facades and old “mom and pop” stores. Don’t miss Dick’s Old-time Five and Dime, one of the most popular attractions in Branson. Spend the morning perusing many of the unique shops and galleries and then take the free trolley over to Branson Landing.
Sitting in the shadows of the Ozark Mountains and on the shores of Lake Taneycomo, Branson is also a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Lake Taneycomo is one of the best trout fishing lakes in the world, while Table Rock Lake is a prime destination for bass fishing. Both lakes also offer a variety of outdoor activities, ranging from boating, kayaking and canoeing to swimming, scuba diving and parasailing.
