Arch of Cabo San Lucas (El Arco)

Land's End, Cabo San Lucas, 23410

The Basics

Because El Arco is a natural formation that’s accessible only by water, the only way to get close to it is by boat. Numerous tours leaving from the Cabo San Lucas marina offer various ways to see the arch. Adventurous travelers can opt for a kayaking and snorkeling tour—or parasail over it! Those looking to relax with friends can sail by it on a catamaran or sailboat, or take an evening cruise that includes dinner and drinks.

So much fun
Loved this cruise. Such a wonderful way to end the day. We even got to see humpback whales! The snacks and open bar were a great addition as well

A must do!

Private Boat Tour from Cabo San Lucas with Snorkeling Gear 6 pax
The boat is pretty spacious and feels like floating on a small spa. We rented out the boat for ourselves as we felt most comfortable with that during a pandemic. And it was incredible. Views were amazing. Crew was on top of everything from safety to comfort. They even let us DJ our own music. A must do for Cabo!

Luxury Sailing and Snorkeling Cruise in Cabo San Lucas
Captain Gary and 1st mate Ivan were great explained safety yet kept it fun. Very attentive. I had hard time getting back on boat after snorkeling and they both were patient and strong getting back on board. Great explaining what we were seeing taking pictures of us and docking the boat on our return. These guys were great

Snorkeling Tour in Cabo San Lucas
The boat was large, there was enough shade and clean bathrooms. The lunch was ample and tasty. The drinks were served to us by the fabulous staff from the moment we stepped on the Catamaran until the bar closed 3 hours later. But the best part was the snorkeling. The equipment was good, fit well, and it didn't leak. There were tons of beautiful fish. The ride back was fun with good music and more drinks. Highly recommend this activity and company.

Private Boat Tour from Cabo San Lucas with Snorkeling Gear 6 pax
Anthony was such a calm and amazing host! We ate, swam, relaxed, played music and took lots of pictures. Not only did we pull out to “sea” right on time, but he made sure we were well taken care of from start to finish. The boat was clean/sanitized and the bathroom was spotless! Highly recommend over any other “boat” experience for smaller groups.

The Arch Tour on Glass Bottom Boat with Amazing Captain in Cabo San Lucas
We had a great boat, trip, saw lots of colorful fish, sea lions and a turtle. Adrian was very knowledgeable about the rick formations and surrounding area. The owner is so nice. They dropped us off at the restaurant we wanted to go to as well. It was a great experience all around, we all enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

Cabo San Lucas: Private Boat Tour, Snorkel, SUP, and Fun Water Mat
One of the best excursions I’ve ever done! The crew was amazing, the views were beautiful, and the food and drinks were delicious. Also, having the photographer was a plus. Our group had so much fun, especially jumping off the boat and swimming to the beach. Highly recommend this excursion, you will NOT be disappointed!!

Humpback Whale Watching in Cabo San Lucas
We saw lots of whales. The tour guide and boat driver let us stay out longer than usual because we were seeing so many. The boat ride was a little bumpy at times.

When to Get There

The tropical climate of Los Cabos makes El Arco delightful to explore year-round, but keep in mind that the area is at its busiest around winter (between November and April) and its rainiest in late summer.

Marine Life Around El Arco

Those interested in marine life will enjoy a scuba or snorkeling tour around El Arco. Glass-bottom kayak tours go past colonies of sea lions and plenty of tropical fish on the way to Pelican Rock and Lover’s Beach (Playa del Amor). Larger glass-bottom boat tours explore the history of Los Cabos as passengers enjoy sweeping views of Pelican Rock, El Arco, and Land’s End—where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez.
