The Basics

Visitors can explore the Beatles Story exhibitions with the aid of a free Living History audio guide, which tells of the band’s rise, from their humble beginnings to the height of their dizzying fame. The venue’s Discovery Zone, which features interactive exhibits and a giant piano, is specially geared toward children.

Entrance tickets for the Beatles Story are often included on Beatles-themed tours departing from both from London and Liverpool, along with other Beatles attractions such as Penny Lane, the Cavern Club, and the Magical Mystery Tour bus.

We booked the wrong week and couldn’t change it so went to see them while in Liverpool. The manager couldn’t have been nicer and let us in to go through anyway. It completed our Liverpool experience so thrilled to get in and it is worth it.

The train trip was beautiful over beautiful country side. The Beatles Museum was so well done and the Mystery Tour was the highlight. The tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Loved Listening to Imagine and all the photos of John Lennon and the Beatles . The recorded commentary was a bit annoying , would rather just walk around and look and read myself . Little bit busy and congested at times . Though great if you like and remember the Beatles , well worth a visit .

Liverpool & The Beatles Rail Day Trip from London
First of all I had read other reviews where people said they had trouble finding the tour representative at the London train station. That was not my experience. The representative in uniform found me and was on time and very helpful. The train ride was nice. The Beatles story as well as the Magical Mystery Tour. If you love the Beatles this trip is worth it!

Awesome Day Trip

Liverpool & The Beatles Rail Day Trip from London
My wife and two adult children took this day trip at the end of August. It was fantastic. The Beatles Story is exceptionally well done. We spent approximately 2.5 hours there. Could have spent more. The Magical Mystery Tour was great. We had a terrific guide. Sadly I do not remember his name. He was funny, insightful and told some great Beatle stories. Be prepared. It is a long day. The train leaves Euston station at 7:07 am and you return around 9:10 pm. Well worth it for Beatle fans.

Yeah definitely a must when you visit Liverpool. Great detailed account of the band and associates. Take your time and enjoy the full story of each segment. You will see others being pulled by the group and couldn't possibly of heard the full accounts. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fans may also want to visit the Cavern Club, where the young Beatles played gigs; the Casbah Coffee Club, where The Quarrymen—an early Ringo-free version of the band—played; and Mendips and 20 Forthlin Road, the childhood homes of John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
